I'm not sure about that. The laws on child pornography say nothing about depicting art of cartoon characters. It's still very shaky ground, so yeah...

More like babyfurs don't want their name being dragged down with cub artists. A lot of infantilists will be quick to point out that what they do is legal and does not involve actual minors. Therefore, I see the babyfurs benefiting from that disclaimer more than anything.
