Well, I've not seen one, looking through the archived threads... so...

FIND BAD FURSUITS AND DISCUSS THEM.

If you want Samantha(Bob) to undress Chubby Charlie, turn to page 23 Then take a bath with the blender.

If you want them both to go home and rethink their pathetic lives, turn to page 40

Can I have the option of checking the plushied on the shelf for stragically placed holes?

Aren't most of them bad already? Examples of good fursuits would be more exceptional.

I'd just started eating an ice cream bar when I saw that, then scrolled down and caught sight of the wang. You know, there isn't much on this earth that can spoil the yumminess of ice cream bar... but you may have found it and unleashed it upon my still screaming eyeballs

Yeah and I'm still getting shit about it since I rehosted that article. The furries have been harassing my webhosts as well as the whois people, pretty much anyone they can think of. I've gotten more than a few confused broken-English emails from my old Czech hosting service about this. :)

That furfox or whatever it was, how do you look at that and say "Yes this will do quite nicely! My work is complete and ready for public viewing. This is exactly what I had pictured in my minds eye" .. Do they have no self-respect and shame??

(That was a rhetorical question)

And again

He's got a 'head caught in vice' fetish? Don't laugh, you know it probably exists.

See, this is the same reason so much shitty furry artwork happens... they're being driven by the sexual urge to put something on paper and skip right past the notions of artistic self improvement which would just slow them down

Put another way, if every fursuiter were really just a hobbyist then they'd pay more attention not to create absolute shit like that. In reality, most just want to sew together a sad little hiding place to envelope their weak selves and/or a cumbersome, makeshift sex toy as fast as their greasy fingers and fevered little minds can work.

Indeed, other furries probably don't. And these folks are too dense to understand that when someone asks "That's... nice. What are you supposed to be?" it means you fucked up when trying to convey the sense of being a fox, or a tiger, or a wolf, or whatthehelleveryourfetishanimalis.

You say that is if it's hard to do. It's not, especially if you know where to look (which on the Internet is pretty much right in from of you).

Well, seeing as how the very WORD "fursuit" brings to mind people making asses of themselves to an extreme degree (or worse), I really don't see how it's possible for there to be such a thing as a "good" fursuit. Saying "bad fursuits" is kind of redundant.

Would you admit there are good 'animal costumes' then, in the same way people try to anal retentively shift the words 'furry' and 'anthro'?

The "noble-animal as a noble-Native-American" thing has been done into the ground it seems. It's cool at first, and then you see four hundred more just like it and it kind of loses its intrigue.

I will admit though that some fursuits are just amazing in their complexity and quality of work. I admire them as an art form, but still don't want to touch them, lest they be crusty.

If they weren't such a symbol of sexuality now, I'd probably try my hand at building and selling them since you can make so much money apparantly. However it would just break my heart to see something I worked hard crafting to just be used for disturbing and degrading nerdsex. Even worse if it wound up on fursuitsex.com..

Yes, I do..... I'm just not sure the pink on the human suit in the bottom pic really suits you. i love you for what's on the cousin-of-Cthulu inside, not the fleshy outside :D

I seen some fursuits that are pretty cool. Easy way to tell if people use em for sex is if they have pants on for no reason (and yes, I know it's stated on some CYD article here too) - most of the time though, the fursuits remind me too much of a mascot costume though, cept with a fat person inside.

I wear pants with both of mine (Micah and Trevor), but that's because my fursuits are a head, tail, and gloves, and I'm not about to walk around naked. Especially since my characters are male and I'm not.;P

And I can safely and honestly say that I've never had sex in one of my costumes, nor have I had the desire to have sex in one of my costumes. With the amount of time and energy I put into making those, I sure as heck ain't gonna risk damaging them in the throes of passion!;)

Not to mention, anyone who's ever worn a fursuit, but it full-body or just partial like mine, knows how extremely hot and uncomfortable they get after a few minutes.

I think the pants thing only counts if the fursuit is a full-body suit which has pants FNAR (as the pants are there simply to cover the SPH). If it's seperate parts (head, paws, feet and tail, etc.) with regular clothes then it doesn't count. Matrices has a rather cute costume which is put together in a similar manner. Hey, look. I'm showcasing a suit which I do like. :)

Aye, I know - unless the pants are part of the costume or are there for a reason, it's usually for the SPH.. >.>

Matrices draws some cute art that doesn't make me want to cringe. =3

NO. Not unless you're being paid for it, or at the very very least not bringing it to a furry convention...

I only pester because I found that there is a small percentage of suiters (mostly middle aged women) who dress up and instead of playing out their animla spirit totems or fucking they actually do things like play nice with kids and have... um, good clean fun.

I'll admit that I don't think that they are, sadly, the majority of fursuiters, but I don't like seeing them clasified with the general furry fuckery.

What about people who make costumes of their characters because they're really fun to make, and then wear them at a con mainly for the purpose of, for lack of a less arrogant-sounding way of putting it, showing off their art? Or because wearing a costume is fun?

It doesn't seem fair to put these people (myself included) in with the ones who wear fursuits for sexual purposes. Not that I necessarily have anything against people who wear fursuits for sexual purposes, but I know that sex is just about the last thing on my mind when I'm sweating inside one of my costumes!

I think if you're a female fursuiter you get pretty much a free pass.

I'm talking full-on suiting, not that weird leather bondage skunkette person-thing I saw at a couple cons.

The furry has ruined any type of so-called fursuit for me. I'm terrified of going to a sporting event that I might rush the field and take out the mascot "just in case". We're going to the Pittsburgh ammusement park Kennywood on opening day and I've already told my husband I can't be responsible for my actions.

Damn you furry, damn you to hell.

Eh, don't let the furry fantards ruin any fun you would otherwise in doing, watching, or participating any sort of activity. If you do, then they've won.

I need a favor. If somebody's got a razor, I'd greatly appreciate it if he/she does this with my two eyes:

Argh, it's that horrible scene from un Chien Andalou. I'd have to say, furries have come up with all sorts of bad images, but they can't ever compete with the pure evil that scene was (where basically a guy comes in and rips open a women's eye with a razor blade). Most violent image filmed ever? I'd say yes.

In fact. Despite it's over 75 years old, this scene (and the whole movie) is shocking, perplexing and scary. There's ants coming out of a wounded hand, a man cycling while dressed as a nun, a lady poking a disembodied hand on the ground, fondling scenes that would make anybody on the 20s blush deep red, a man hauling two pianos with the rotting donkeys inside...

It's a movie thought to make you say "WTF", and that's precisely its purpose.

Ha, the worst of furry can't out-compete Dali and Bunuel. Furry makes even its own WTF material lame.

Unless he's lost quite a bit of weight since FC02, NOT FAT ENOUGH.

He was quite polite, well groomed, and was stuck sitting by Dwayne. I kind of felt sorry for him, until I saw his portfolio.

Jesus! Those pics are premium grade nightmare fuel! WTF is he wearing? It looks like some awful gaudy xmas patterned spandex that has stuck on fur worn off in all the "yiffy" places.

Furry porn hung on the walls. Tacky. Moronic.

Does anyone else find it beyond a little disturbing that someone who professes to love their totem animals would have the severed head of one to suck face with?

Ugh. I just had the mental image of this guy going to a taxidermy show to shop for a love doll.

I'm going to scrub my brain with an SOS pad to rid myself of the horror.

If I was invited to someone's house and there was framed furry porn on the walls, I'd immediately think of the end of Silence of the Lambs. Suddenly the lights go out, and I'm being led to the pit...

I'd assume it's male, since basically 90% of the fandom is.

Females actually are closer to 50% of the fursuiting crowd though. Ironically, they usually have masculine characters they go as. If the fursuit is supposed to be female (like this one seems with the hair) you can assume it's male.

Also if it has shorts FNAR, then you can be sure it's male.
