If it were for the 'sample' bit, it would make a creat 'thread locked' image with the lock nipple rings.

Oh, I'm pretty sure there's someone which thirty dollars who would like to have it.

But ... a lot of people aren't willing to pay ten bucks to join SA's circle of idioticy so I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

They lied; it costs 20. They get you on all those small fees and surcharges. Highway robbery!

Five for the custom title, another ten to be able to send/recieve private messaegs, and the ability to use the broken/rewritten 'search' function.. when it works, that is.

What a rip. I know free forums that are just as interesting (and half as retarded). I can see why goons are so proud of being goons now though. If I spent that much on something, I had better be adamant about it!

Being able to read GBS is good enough. FYAD would have to be heaven on the internet for me to pay money.

The biggest kicker is that say a person pays all these fees here and there just to have the whole SA deal. Then say said person does something stupid and like so many before gets banned.

Sorry there, Internet person. Looks like you just wasted your weekly allowance again. Of course, if I paid for access to a forum or any other online service regardless of how stupid it was, I'd consider it to IOMPORTANT to me too.

Having to pay to read something called Fuck You And Die somehow doesn't sound quite right...

I'm going to make a game called 'SimSA'. You buy the game for ten dollars, kiss Lowtax's ass, get called a fag, get told you have ePenis, get told Bush sucks and then you get banned.

Seriously, I know of no goon who has ever had a good response to this question:

How is paying 10 bucks to visit a forum logically better than buying Furcadia wings for 15?

The closest to a real answer I received involved a person who purchased both.

Well... you're less likely to lose your wings than membership to SA's forum so things are not looking good in favor of SA. Then again, I think paying for either is stupid. Every time I encounter a dragon, pheonix, gryphon, or someone with wings of any kind during the exceedingly rare times that I play Furc, I remind myself that someone paid to use that in what is nothing more than a graphical chat room, and I laugh.

You don't need to pay to play Furc. But some people do.
You do need to pay to post to SA. So people do.
The difference is in what the creators give you for your money. So $10 (for life) to do something useful seems infinitely better than $15 (a year) for something that does nothing at all...

Uhh, I'm pretty sure you have to pay to post on SA. To read it, however, is a different story.

What... that's really cheap. 200 Gold - $25.19US. The amount of gold I'm trying to save up in game is pocket change in real life. How is buying pretend money different different from buying some stupid wings?

HAEF U SOJ? JKEKEKEKEKEEK

How is paying 10 bucks to visit a forum logically better than buying Furcadia wings for 15?

This one I can answer. With the amount of freaks attracted to SA, there's likely to be at least a few who are useful. SH/SC (the computer geek forum) is like a trickled down slashdot with many "I FUCKED UP WINDERS" requests. It's useful to find things you never knew existed, or to find support for.

Define 'useful'. When you pay to post, it's because you like SA. When they pay for wings, it's because they like Furc. To an outside observer, both are about equally retarded. When I pay money online, I expect something to come in the mail a week later. Or at very least for someone to do work for me (art comission).

Paying for text is no better than paying for pixels.

Buying a dev art account was a big mistake of mine, looking back.

How is paying 10 bucks to visit a forum logically better than buying Furcadia wings for 15?

I've gotten free tech support from computer geeks on free forums. You just need to know where to look. Likewise, some comp geeks have to be on Furc.

There are two things I'd pay for that aren't actually tangible. One is direct-download software, the other is mp3s. Anything else is a waste of cordobas.
