I was going to make a joke about how this is the second part that Kage: the ghost warrior (or what ever it was called) movie, but I'm to tired to be funny tonight.

I did a search and didn't see it listed any where but doubt its new. Don't hate me for trying!!!

A license should be required for non-japanese to use feudal Japan as their setting. Seriously. More fictional ninjas likely exist and have died at any one point in time than all the real ninjas combined. I highly doubt all japan was for centuries was just a bunch of men lopping off each other's heads.

That being said, I think it was overly artsy, and the song choice sucked. If we're going to get the dialogue in Japanese why not at least pick a song that is Japanese.

I didn't make it past the dragonball Z-esque closeups after the throwing stars. Why do people waste they're time?

Not be a guy in a black suit that looks like all these other "ninja's" but be a guy who poision's the ronins food with that mushroom that lowers your alchol tolerance to nothing so one or two drinks will kill you..
It's depressing to see such cool masters of the unsuspecting become demoted to this blathering "NINJAS HAD SWRODS AND KUNG FU AND SHIT."

Hell ninja's wore normal clothing! They looked like any other civillian..

The best comment I can come up with is, "FUCKING STUPID."

I'm sure it's all supposed to be very profound and shit, but the effect is somewhat dampened when the ninjas are a pair of rabbits. Oh, and the fact that it sucks.

So many things are wrong with this. The theme is cliche, the animation is choppy, the character designs are horrible and devoid of expression, and the music choice is inappropriate. Also, real Japanese doesn't have spaces between the words. The big kanji at the beginning doesn't translate to "children of exile", it's some nonsensical kanji which spells out "greeting big" which would lead me to believe that the author just yanked out random Japanese symbols to make the flash look cool even though he had no idea what he was writing.

There really should be a liscense to make anything Japanese swordsman related. Furthermore, anyone who puts Japanese on something should as least be able to speak it so that they know what the fuck they're writing.

The Japanese for 'big' is the same as the Mandarin character so that's exactly what I was thinking. It's not engrish, it's japanlish. But didn't you like the way he could speak just by moving his cheeks?

The weird thing is that I recently made a rough sketch very similar to the beginning... Rabbit and all. Cool song though.

The language mistakes remind me of when my "otaku^_^" roommate first started taking Japanese, and would write random things that were never close to correct. I never told her that the exchange students were laughing at her.

It was pretty cool looking, I just can't get over everything else. I really liked the style, but as soon as it moved...

I've never understood the appeal of the ancient Japanese culture or storytelling. Is it Ninjas? Samurai? At any rate, I always thought that European or Norse warfare and mythos was much more interesting and way less "namby-pamby". I could say the same for anime, its just the same boring trash over and over again with the same overused cliches, as shown in this flash movie. That being said, I hated Last Samurai.

Overall, this was pretty poorly done, and the attempt to be serious and profound just comes off as elitist and fails miserably, considering the content.
