Since I draw pretty cuteish stuff, I joined an LJ community called "cute_art" a while ago.

There's something really eerie about this picture. Leaving aside the strange way the face of the character has been rendered -either the neck is waaay back or the head is waaaaay ahead- and the strange face -is it a lion, a bear or an alien?- the fact the character's got only the top part of the uniform to expose the diapers creeps me out.

Maybe I've seen way too much 'infantilistic' furry stuff; maybe my senses have been spoiled by this gallery of atrocities on CYD... maybe my eyes became desensitized and are seeing potential perversion where there should be only innocence... but this pic creeps the heck out of me.

I feel tempted to write a demolishing review. After all, I've been subscribed to that group for a long time. :b

The more cute a person tries to make stuff like this, the more repulsive it is to someone who knows that they only draw a diaper because they have a fetish for wearing them. I was going to sit this one out due to conflict of interest, but: yup and yup.

I still find one sentence in Rootdown entry to be lollerific, as it tells of untold volumes of drama.

Conversely, while his asshole friends took the fact that root was a closet babyfur in stride, a handful of his babyfur fans were horrified to discover that their hero, the patient and loveable Astolpho, was in reality a closet asshole.

The conflict of interest being that years ago, I hung out with Root, qualifying for the "Asshole friend" category, completely oblivious to the whole babyfur thing. Ironically/appropriately I found the wiki entry (And thus the links) while researching for a post at CYD. Yes, Astolpho and such creeps me out. I can't look at that without getting a bad case of the heebie jeebies. At the same time, I've known Root for years, so I can't just turn my back on him. Enh, still working it out.

I think what is most scandalous here is that it's all been open knowledge for months now and I've been posting that artwork to the internet for over a year and it's only getting scooped by CYD just now. I mean I can guess as to a few things that might have slowed it down but still, there you have it.

As for how the religion factors into it as long as I'm not fornicating or adulterating it's not that big a deal. Yeah, I probably shouldn't be having furrymuck flags that might make CYD forumgoers feel icky but I'd wager to guess that not having gone to church more than half a dozen times in the last three years is a bigger problem on that particular score.

However, the remaining 90% is rootdown, hidden under the surface of the water, surrounded by killer whales, and if you are not careful around him he will sink your Titanic.

Due to the trolling laws here I can't go into detail the minor upset I caused to the Babyfur community, but to Astolpho's credit he was one of the few that saw the humor in it.

Hell, the grandmas in my office have their walls covered with cutesy, baby shit. Whose to say this is any more sinister?

I seen a rootdown gooning around on Sheezy Art about 2 years ago.
He took part in many trollings and was part of some troll party that mainly targeted furries.
I forgot the name of the troll party and who else was in it.
They always looked for the easiest targets and then made grouped attacks.
Surprising to hear that he is/was supposedly a babyfur.
