It's a game. Here's the rules...

1. Post a furcon photograph of your "liking" to this thread
2. Someone else has to come up with a clever, scathing and/or humorous caption for your photo... As best they can, anyway
3. Whoever came up with a caption has to post a new photo
4. Photos can be captioned more than once, but a new photo has to be posted for each caption

Q: Isn't this just an excercise in lame, purile silliness and a complete waste of time?
A: Yeah, but it's a larf, innit?

Are these really from a furry con? If so, I'll give the minotaur credit for being the anti-hambeast. These look more like Ren-faire Wiccans on crack, though, not furry conventioneers.

The pencil-necked congoers with wildlife-print t-shirts in the background reveal the gruesome truth.

Actually, SLalita, you're doing it wrong.

Try doing it like 21st Century Boy.

1. Quote the post so the picture shows
2. Place your caption beneath it
3. Post an Img link of a new photo beneath it

yikes

This stuff is too hard to caption, its so bizzare.. (diapercoon ??) If the title of the thread were "really fucked up images to set your friend's desktop backgrounds to during a night of heavy drinking" then it would be perfect.

But if I *had* to caption them, they'd all have "HOLY SHIT RUN" under them.

The first moment I saw this picture, I thought of this:

Initially I didn't want the face to match all that well, so I overdid the burn/dodging... However, when I opted to turn it into a 'truth' ad, I figured I should have at least tried to do intermitten saves. :(

Having recently conquered Seattle with his Bum Bum Song and his swim across Lake Washington, Tom Green sets his sights on his next local victim: ConiFur NW.

Our recent mission work at the local con proved to be a success. Here we see a member from the Church of Robert Hillology looking for new converts to our great cause.

And since I commented on two, I present two more.

What? You mean this? If you're on the net, that's net age enough for me. And yes, once you've seen Robert Hill's stuff it's nearly impossible to forget about it. (Plus his art and a couple of his "angels" were all over MTV's Sex2k "Plushies & Furries".) He used to have some stuff on Furry Inflation but he's sort of disappeared into obscurity now. Pity.

That first one is Foofur McFurry. That photo was snapped the day he decided to "come out about his furryness" about 5 seconds before his Wing Chung instructor dished him out a severe ass-whupping and tossed his body in a dumpster. Five-year-old Cindy Luihu of Koanakiki, Hawaii discovered the body when she mistakenly thought it to be a discarded stuffed toy and took it home. Several days later, the furry's death was discovered when the odor from the body inside filled the house.

The police investigating the incident have abandoned the case, deeming it a mercy killing.

Hmmm, let's see. Cookie cutter faux zebra fur body suit? Check. Bizzare nose thingie? Check. Con Badge? Check. Bad haircut and facial hair? Check. Any remote sense of dignity left at the door? Double check. Alright, I'm ready to move out of my parent's base... er I mean attend the furry convention.

Knights of the Round (13 hits at 9,999 points each) + WSummon Materia (causing you to cast twice) + your other two party members weilding Mimic materia (tripling the previous attacks) = 779,922 points of damage per round.

HEY, remember in FF6 how Edgar had those Tools he could use to attack, like the Auto Crossbow and shit? Okay, when you get attacked by Strays (cats basicaly), if you confuse them they turn away from you, and then when you use Edgar's Drill tool it looks like he's drilling them straight in the ass!

Bet I'm not the only one who noticed that! Nope, I'm not a furry, nosirreeee bob. Not a furry in the least.

god help me

I'd just bust out an Omnislash on their ass, then throw in a w-summon knights of the round with a mimic. No need to have a healer, not with my trusty w-item 99 megalixer exploit. Ya? Well let's see YOU beat Ruby Weapon at level 70. :x

I can't tell for sure what that shirt says, but assuming it does say "I live in my own little world, but that's ok... they know me here" then it is a perfect shirt for him.

Upon viewing at this image of his parents, it is evident why young James Anderson ran away to British Columbia and legally changed his last name.

...as time progressed, Schmendrick became a reue magician, but continued to falter with his incantations. Regardless, he, and his new-found stalllion, continued to find love and merriment.

...ok, what I really wanted was something along the lines of "In Tijuana, anything can happen."", but I figured too much was implied without referencing a troll frollicing with a stalli-corn.

Gender unconfrimed. Due to politically correct programming, I am required to refer to all genderless and unidentified beings as "she," "woman," and "her."

Why is the thing on the right pulling the guy's shirt up from behind? I don't get what the fuck is so entertaining about fursuiting.

It's doing that as a living testament to why furrydom is what it is today... that four furries standing around, most of them in fursuits, cannot hold a simple conversation without fondling each other somehow because they're a bunch of oversexed guys that are too afraid of their own bodies and genuine social interaction to get sex that is close enough to the real deal to sate their hormones.

I'm willing to make allowances for the possibility that the.... thing.. on the right isn't aware that his glove is hooked on the guy's shirt.. but somehow I don't think that's the case.

On the fursuiting thing, I can understand how the creative challenge of making a costume would be fun. I like doing costumes for Halloween. But as to why these people enjoy dressing up in these smelly, sweltering costumes for a few hours - not only several times a year at cons - but while interacting at home and even out on the street (like whassisface that was on The Daily Show).... I can only guess that these folks are just not comfortable with normal human socialization. So, they have to put on these masks... literally... that they can hide behind to feel secure enough to mingle in a social setting. It's a lot like a child's security blanket.

I also wonder why my avatar is animated on every page except this one. Of course, it will probably fix itself as I post this.

I also wonder how many don't wash the fursuits. I mean, I'm not sure what they're made of exactly and how they're constructed, but most of the head parts don't look like they'd fit in a conventional washing machine.

EDIT: Nope, still frozen. :(

Optimistically checking for back hair, maybe?

You keep still, because you think maybe his visual acuity's based on movement and he'll lose you if you don't move. But no. Not
Velociraptor. That's when the attack comes - - not from the front but from the side, from the other furry you didn't even know was there.

While the missionary tried his best to spread the word of God to Expressionless Skunk and Weird-Faced Fox, Yippee Coyote tried his best to get into the good missionary's pants... starting with his shirt.

Here we see a screenshot from the next Tenchu game - Tenchu: Stinky Furcon, wherein Rikimaru and Ayame are sent by Lord Ghoda to infiltrate a furry convention to learn the whereabouts of Onikage's demon ninja clan. Unfortunately, the game never goes far, because you can only get two levels into it before the characters commit seppuku to end their suffering and humiliation. This shot is from the first level, where Rikimaru - on the right - is waiting until the fox guard walks past the wall so he can perform a stealth yiff maneuver.

Alternately --

WE ARE WEARING FURSUITS AND COLLARS BECAUSE WE ARE NOT A FETISH FANDOM!!

I offer two.. just because they were both so pathetically hilarious to choose between.

Bill likes to study for the big Abnormal Psychology exam by sitting on the toilet in a fursuit. "It helps me relax," says Bill.

Why is it these guys' rooms/houses always look like a cross between Suncoast's anime section, Cables-R-Us supply store, CompUSA, and a party goods supply store? You never see a furry room that doesn't look like some techy/geeky pawn shop filled with crap and food wrappers.

I'm starting to think there aren't really that many furries out there. They just change their facial hair pattern once in a while and take pictures at different angles of their rat nests to make them look like someone different.

Furries always walk single file to hide their numbers.

Well, there are two banthas down there but.... wait a minute.... no, those are two furry fans.

I can identify Zelda- The Windwaker, Animal Crossing, and the Daffy Duck game for Gamecube in the background of the photo. It's a fair bet the StarFox games and ZooCube are back there as well. Probably with tentacles and giant genitalia crayoned in on the cover.
