You gotta love how they can say furry isn't about sex and all, yet have the apparent inability to create a mod for a game that doesn't allow them to plaster furry porn or at least a pic of the faggiest furry mascot (next to Silfur) into the environment (dunno if the Chester pic is really furry porn since we can't see more.... thank gawd).
I also find it interesting how furry character designs not only often share the player's complete lack of even basic fashion sense, but manage to heighten it to a new level of suckitude. Just take the least complimentary colors, throw them together, mix in a few bangles, accessories from widely varying eras, and make at least one part of your body technicolor (bonus points for eyes of two different colors) and you're COOOOOL... like, the kind of cool you were when you raided mommy or daddy's (mostly mommy's I'd wager) closet and put together a smashing ensemble when you were 4 years old. Then, top it all off with an Austrialian duster when you go out on the town to show off your new duds. |

Well, if they'll pay stupid money for a little prancy pair of wings on Furcadia, they'll shure as hell pay for horsedongs.
I wonder how long it'll be before furries are a joke among the Sims community as well. |

They look like characters from Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure. |

Shit. Now I almost wonder what happened to my old copies of 'The Sims'. I loved 'Little Computer People'. |

Never played little computer people but I have to reccommend Alter Ego.

It's a wonderful (but really really long) game. |

Second Life, far as I can tell tell, isnt really a furry game. Its just got a growing furry membership
Its like Furcadia or a MUCK in that its highly customizable. You can make skins for your characters, build places, etc. Seems like it costs a lot of time and money to play, whether youre a furry or not.
I could see Second Life taking over the role of Furcadia and FurryMUCK if it werent for the fact you have to pay cash for almost everything you do. |

I remember Little Computer People.... making the guy eat and do jumping jacks over and over until he got sick.. depriving him of sleep. Dance my puppets, dance! |

I remember some furry talking about Second Life before. I kept away from it like the plague. |

That's one of my favorite games ever. I rarely ever survive past young adulthood though. |

Actually said at a furry con:
'Is there a college graduate in the house? (silence). Anyone? Anyone here with a degree in anything from anywhere?'
One balding overwieght 40-something year-old guy did actually come up to us and said he had gotten a degree in 'applied laser engineering' or something like that in the 70's, when 14z0R technology was the big thing. We asked what he was doing now and he showed us his sketchbook of furry manginal shemale transformation porn and asked if we would like to buy prints.
We respectfully declined. |
