While some of Micah's art is... um... no, there isn't anything we haven't gotten tired of four years ago. Hell, seeing things come out of asses is almost refreshing after seeing so many people go into asses. Almost. But not really. So Micah isn't a mind-numbingly horrible artist. So we don't make her out to be one.

Micah's on the forums, and not making the typical 'persecuted furry, tortured artist' scene. We can say the art is offensive to the senses and stupidly perverted without drawing the typical comparisons to Puritans and/or Nazis. So Micah isn't batshit insane, and we congratulate her for that.

And the artwork is well executed, worth some nice American dollars to the right people. And with The Meat as character witness, real life Micah is distinctly Not Fucking Psycho. Which we give credit for.

Now show me where this is thinking Micah's as cool as canned beer?

First of all, I wasn't asking for defense - I was pointing the quote out to you guys because I thought you would find it amusing - that someone actually thinks that little ol' me has somehow contributed to the downfall of this forum. *snort* And that apparently y'all think I'm totally cool. *bigger snort*

Secondly - I don't recall saying anywhere that I can't stand dumbasses messing with me on fchan - if that were, in fact, the case, I *would* stop using it. I'm not one of those people who goes around looking for negative attention and then whines and cries when I get it (like oh so many other furries). I can deal with things myself and I wasn't posting this thread in any attempt to get sympathy (believe me, CYD is the *last* place I'd go to look for sympathy! *grin*).

I think the whole thing is disgusting - but the dual standards we hold here at CYD is the real reason I am disturbed. I love how one is to hold a 'moderator' to a high standard, yet it is perfectly fine for the folks to be as rag-tag, YIFFALICIOUS, or however they wish. CYD is comprised of those which is it's lifeblood to make fun of. I don't want a fucking forum of Hirtes, but it's more than a little sad when you've got someone on "TEH HATE SIET" asking for critique on their commissions.

..and that's that.

I love how one is to hold a 'moderator' to a high standard, yet it is perfectly fine for the folks to be as rag-tag, YIFFALICIOUS, or however they wish. CYD is comprised of those which is it's lifeblood to make fun of. I don't want a fucking forum of Hirtes, but it's more than a little sad when you've got someone on "TEH HATE SIET" asking for critique on their commissions.
