The forum's back up! Yay! :D
But my number of posts have dropped, I lost my PMs before I could read them, and I lost my avatar. Boo! :(
Back on topic. Jay Naylor plunges ahead with "Better Days." What's amusing is one the the entries concerns a conversation between Fisk and a friend.
Just read it and you'll see what I mean. |

Well they are in high school now. Maybe in the world of Better Days people can get licenses at much younger ages or maybe they are 16. Who knows. |

There's an easy explanation:
JAY NAYLOR HAS NO SENSE OF CONTINUITY.
Unless of course, the span of the comic has spread over several years, thus skipping the parts where we see Fisk going for his license. But that would just be downright nutty. So...
JAY NAYLOR HAS NO SENSE OF CONTINUITY. |

Fisk transcends all earthly age restrictions. Soon he'll be renting foxyporn. |

For me, the funniest part isn't the fact that he's driving at 14, it's the comment Fisk makes when mouse-boy says that he and Lucy get along well. |

I think Naylor should change it to: "Maybe it's different because... I POPPED HER CHERRY!" |

Jay lives in Georgia. They probably let 14 year olds there have assault rifles as well. |

I think he's said that the strip is supposed to take place across the span of years, but you'd only know that if you'd read it in his forum or something. Seeing as how he's completely unable to adequately convey the passage of time in the strip itself. |

Doesn't he have the same teacher for a ridiculously long time, though? I don't really want to bother actually reading the comic. :( |
