I hardly post here so if this is in the wrong place, oh well.
Well as far as I know, this one furry who goes by Munchiethecrazy decides to travel cross country to visit his furcadia love interest, a 22 year old female. He's on the bus for about four days, probably thinking up crazy yiffy positions until he finally arrives at his destination....with no one there to pick him up.
You see, Rain isn't a 22 year old female. HE'S a 14 year old boy who can not pick poor Munchie up from the station. So he's stuck there with a useless one way ticket....and zero dollars, begging for local furs to pick him up.
http://www.livejournal.com/community/furry_connect/251617.html
And Sibe, being the evil Husky, couldn't help but give the Kitsune AND his 14 year old interest a call.....and post it on the net for all to hear. :3!!!

I won't listen to the phone call because this will make me feel embarassed, and i'm not even involved.
However, this is possibly the funniest thing i've ever heard since i started lurking here. Maybe as funny as the beanie baby birthing thing. |

That boy is one prime candidate to becoming a transsexual in future. :D Poor Munchie indeed. In just a few years everything could have been true.
I have the mixed reaction of hilarity and sympathy. Hilarity wins. This would have been great with Jerry Springer doing the interview but Sibe cuts it down somewhat. A dog fucker with a grudge does not give off the vibes of superiority. |

Thank you Sibe for once again being at the forefront to report stupidity in the furry fandom. First Icey and now this dumb lug. If anything has been proven, it's that kitsune are stupid. And thank you NothingKat for linking to this.
You know, this isn't the first time someone has traveled across the country to meet someone he met online who turned out to be someone completely different than who he/she claimed to be online. But considering how long the running gag that "the vixen you meet online might really be a 38 year-old man" has been in existance, it's sad (and funny) when people still fall in love with masks never stopping to think who might be wearing it. |

I'd like to see this guy's mother.
"Mom, I need money for a bus ticket so I can meet a girl I found on the interweb."
"Okay hun, have fun." BAM! He gets money. |

I doubt there will be any legal proceedings against Munchies given the jailbait intentionally misrepresented himself.
I've only been there once out of dull curiosity, but I remember Furcadia has age restriction policies in place that he probably violated in addition. (the whole 15 minutes I spent there involved me running around retardedly due to the crappy controls while some vore freak followed me screaming "OMG! It's a wolf and I'm going to be eaten!") |

Sibe: Well I don't know man, you say you're munchiethecrazy on livejournal, this seems pretty fuckin crazy to me man!
Best line ever.
Man, that was hilariously sad. The fact that Sibe sounds like a cross between Casey Kasem and Jason Lee made it all the more funnier. |

I'd have to be pretty damn fat for them to be this size, actually...
but then again, take a look at most of the male bearded furries nowadays!

Actually, I find that some boards are female dominated. Typically pet ownership ones. However, I bet I could count the number of legal aged females who regularly visit Furc on my fingers. |

The place where people go to talk about how bored they are. And perhaps have HAWT TECTS SECKS with 14 year olds pretending to be 22 or 45 year olds pretending to be 12.
Edit: Yes, the place where you have to pay for little pixel wings. |

While in your description you are bestowed with godly powers, scary armor, a dark and foreboding presense, and 10,000 weapons that should be making the "mundanes" quaking in their stupid hyooman boots and all the wemmen to be drawn to you like sexy zombies. |

A vampire with dual katanas and godly powers! Did I mention dual katanas?!
Honestly, why not go with something more versatile like a daisho set? |

I regularly play Furcadia (really only to hang out with the maybe ~4 cool people I've met there, everyone else is a fucking dumbshit), and I can tell you there's just as much japanophile influence in that game than there is furry. There are lots of vampire katana wielders. And fox-demon katana wielders. And nekogirl katana wielders. And they all have INFLATION FETISHES.
I'm considering a complete halt in my playing of that game simply because A: It's furry, B: It's full of dumbshits, and C: It's a horrible game that's been in alpha testing for SEVEN YEARS. The only reason I still pop on once in a while is to talk to those folks.
The amount of digos (those pixel accesories you pay 100+ dollars for, if they're permanent) I see people with is insane. I think the people that run furcadia probably make more than 10k or 15k a month. Do they use it to improve the actual game itself? Fucking no, of course not. I don't know what the hell they do with it, since a game thats as simplistic and primitive as it is probably doesn't cost that much to run a month.
Typical furry motivation. I'm pretty sure it's just one or two guys that run that game. They don't improve it, because they know people will still play it and still pay out the ass for a pair of butterfly wings for their dark wolf clan vampire demon who wields four reverse-bladed katanas in each hand.
yep thats it |

My how Furcadia has fallen. The one day I looked into that shithole there was nothing like that. Just the starting area, a few dreams and a childish theme. That was when it was first started. Hooray for everything revolving around sex in furdumb. |

And if I'm correct, the people that provide support and keep things running smoothly (Beekins) don't get a cent. So basicly... They pay the price of hosting the game and their site. All the while, raking in money. Wow.
I still remember the first day I played furcadia. A friend had told me to download it so we could both check it out together. I was so naive about the whole furry scene. We entered a dream and I started messing around with the buttons. Suddenly my character is on it's knees and has sprouted a penis. I just kind of laughed it off and took it as some strange joke.
But now I know the terrible truth. |

If I recall correctly (or so I've heard), Furc is just a really hacked up version of the old Fuzzball MUCK server, with a poorly-constructed GUI sitting on top of it. (Doesn't it need like, VB3 runtimes or something ancient like that?) Seems as though someone had said you could just telnet into the thing and, aside from seeing a metric asston of extraneous data, the experience wasn't much different.
I'm a bit embarassed to admit that I was even there, if only for a few hours. But that was 2+ years ago; can't imagine it's changed much since then, though. |

I had to laugh at this given that I somehow wound up on faqfarm.com which looks like an innocent site, until you delve into some of the areas. The worst being the underage relationship section, which is crawling with pedophiles. I then wondered if there were any furries on the site who think they're completely normal and I didn't find any. :P After this story, I'm more surprised I didn't find any than I was before. ;p |

This thread loses for not mentioning the awesome SA trolling that went on in the game a couple of times. GENO IS THE PATH OF GREYNESS, ETC.

Nope. It's a really hacked-up version of Ultima Online. Dr. Cat is an old friend/collaborator of Lord British, and I guess he was able to borrow some source code or something. |

A bit OT...
This is the first i've seen of pressed fur and i'm amazed at how level headed they are. In regards to Shawn kellers horrifying look at the furries.
"Similar in spirit to Skunk and the satirical work (now no longer available) of Eric Blumrich, this comic is vicious, biting, unfair, and cruel. It's also very, very funny"
I was expecting cries of furcism!!
However I read the SA thing, my god i don't know who has less of a life, the pathetic furries who go there for cybersex or the goons who take the time to organise a group to go there and lambast the cybersexers. They all need a life. |

I wish I had seen them invade furcadia. I know how annoying and childish 95% of SA goons are. |

They all need a life.
Well, the same could be said for those of us here, as well. (and from the random quotes on the main page, -has- been said.)
I thought the SA thing was...relatively humorous. 4 out of 10, kind of humorous. On one hand, you'd think the goons could find some other people to make fun of. On the other hand, the fandumb is just so EASY to make fun of. On the other other hand, well, what baserock said - they all need a life.
The whole thing rather reminds me sibling rivalry. Big brother pokes little brother incessantly, and finds enjoyment when little brother throws a tantrum. So when little brother quiets down, big brother starts a-pokin' again.
So, what was this thread about?
(Thanks for the link, Stoneth.) |

The tantrum bit is off. SA would have been said and done with furries ages ago if the furries could quiet down. The glacial pace at which furry news happens and typical internet wit-lag left SA with a string of poorly thought-out hatemail and jabs that it answered with more mocking.
SA since is fed up with furries, and I hear if a goon posts a general 'LOL AT FURRAHS' thread, he gets reprimanded for being behind the times.
The ironic part is the furry fallout. The goon behavior patterns; impulsive, childish, pretentious and self-righteous fit right into furry dogma. Apart from SA, furry forums are not the number one spot to see mock capslock AOL-speak attacks, image macros, cries of 'drhama' and rampant internetisms.
It's like if frankenstein raped the wolfman, and they both were worse for it. |

'Tis a far, far worse fate than any other imaginable. You actually have to expend effort to see dripping doggy cocks on Furcadia. Here it's just - bam! Your eyes! In other games... well, WoW already has the 'Knights of Yiff' guild. Who knows what foul secrets breathe the air when the sun goes down upon Kalimdor and the chainmail comes off? |

Four thoughts:
1) Gah, and that looks like it's from a vendor trying to sell said object.
2) You can avoid 99% of that if you just avoid the few "furry" sims.
3) The stupidity isn't limited to furries. I've seen this sort of stuff for human avatars, and it's just as creepy.
4) That probably doesn't make the situation any better, does it?
Also, the list bbcode hates me. |

Is that even possible? Some of the accounts I've heard suggest the place is nearly overrun with them now. Supposedly Second Life has designated 'adult' zones, but I wonder how strictly that's enforced.
I really feel sorry for the people running the whole show. I'm sure this isn't at all what they had in mind when they set up the MMORPG in the first place. I hope Will Wright is learning well from the mistakes of those who have come before him.

It's... well, from what I've seen, furries there are in the minority. Many with anthro avatars claim to not be furries, and I (hypocritically) stand among those ranks. It's actually great, makes a lovely awkward silence. "You a furry?" "No." "..."
And for a count by land, there's only about 4 or 5 sims (server hosting a tract of land 256m by 256m) that I know about that I would avoid like the plague. Those are the ones where I'd wager most of the SL horrors are photos from. In comparison, there's a few sims that I frequent where I've thankfully seen none of those horrors, and this is out of hundreds, possibly a thousand sims. True, many of the sims are empty or are full of dance clubs and casinos (You wouldn't believe me because I don't believe me, but it's true.)
http://www.secondlifeherald.com/ (Site is probably best not viewed at work.) is a site that, in the best traditions of yellow journalism, proves that stupidity is no one group's sole domain.
I really feel sorry for the people running the whole show. I'm sure this isn't at all what they had in mind when they set up the MMORPG in the first place. I hope Will Wright is learning well from the mistakes of those who have come before him.
Mandatory Penny Arcade (Actually, possibly safe for work?) link.

It's scary that I actually know what's going on in that pic, in terms of what's causing that. |

"It is a small room with vast quantities of blood splattered across the ceiling, wooden floor-boards and brick-walls. At the centre of the gore is a wooden 4 poster bed containing bloodied sheets and the disembowled corpse of a furry, post-coital, hermaphrodite hooker. The bed has 5 animation-balls; One where you strangle the dead hooker, two where you have sex with it and another two where you sit in the corners of the mattress and masturbate."
Now I want to do an article of these games but that would mean installing them... |

Hunh? *searches* Oh. You mean the W-hats (just assume any link on this post is NSFW). Which are, as you may or may not know, a group there that was formed from Something Awful. In the second part, they interview the people that made it, Dave Eisenburg.
So this is more or less a 3D version of 'Photoshop Phriday' or whatnot. It was meant as a satire. Also take anything that Second Life Herald says with a shaker of salt; They've been known in the past to take things out of context for pure sensationalism, and to drive wedges between groups purely to generate more drama.
Neal Stewart: So this blood on the walls is not real furry blood, it’s fake - movie blood?
Dave Eisenberg: Well obviously.
Neal Stewart: So, what is the point of the build? To stir up some controversy?
Dave Eisenberg: It wasn’t intended like that. And so far there isn’t much havok going on. It started as a crime scene next door to an e-Detective agency, as a joke and ended up as this.
Neal Stewart: You mentioned before about ‘pushing buttons’. Whose buttons is it intended to push?
Dave Eisenberg: This build is generally pushing the concept of what’s allowed and isn’t in this game.
Neal Stewart: I see, so it’s a joke that evolved into a statement about art and censorship in SL?
Dave Eisenberg: No, it’s still pretty much a joke. Some might take it offending, and that’s fine but if it’s covered, not many people will be seeking this stuff out.
Full disclosure: I've met Dave online, and he's a nice guy. I mentioned a desire for a fuzzy hat, the kind you see old russians in siberia having, and he made one. |

HAHAHAHAHAHA  , i just looked at some of the stuff in that link, absolutely hilarious, specially the post coital hermaphrodite furry hooker, and the pope thing.
I thought it was some vagrant that wandered off the fchan /a/ board after posting pics of an aroused sonic getting eviscerated by knuckles in a gore thread.
The fact that i immediately saw that and automatically assumed it was some furry attrocity makes it better and proves that SA's prod at the furrys is valid. |

It wasn't really much of a problem in Everquest, either. I'm sure there were people who played druids or Vah'Shir because they're OMG FURRY, but it wasn't really evident in-game. Most 'furry encounters' were because of some kind of forum drama where people are more easily linked back to their hobbies and secrets.
(One of my guildmates even did Kit&Kay fanart, but you wouldn't have known it without googling or knowing them personally.) |

I ended up walking off of Furc a couple years ago after I spent 4 hours one night talking an underage girl out of meeting her adult 'lover' in RL. I reported it to the Furc staff and they completely ignored it. They have had plenty of known cases of child-stalking pedophiles freely allowed to run around on Furc and they don't care. As people have said, so long as people are stupid enough to keep throwing good money at the game for silly wings and dragons, they'll keep providing a haven for child molesters. |

Lucky you, on my server, theres an entire clan full of them, and thats just on the Horde side. At first glance, a normal person might just pass them by, but the more knowledgable of us would see otherwise. Its also pretty obvious from thier clan name and tabard.
If you can't see the tabard clearly, it's all pink with a black paw in the middle. How fitting.
They play for the Horde on the Bloodhoof server. Tauren Druids as far as the eye can see, this one player was an exception, I guess. |

It might be because I play on a RP server (Silver Hand) due to one of my friends getting the game first.
Everyone on there acts like a stiff-necked shakespeare reject anyway, so its not like I'd notice a hard core furry when everyone else acts as equally retarded. |

Just when you thought the thread couldn't get even more off-topic, my wife (Who is a WoW junkie  ) mentioned that Earthen Ring supposedly has good RP if you get to level 15 if you actually want RP. |

I think it's spread out pretty well. My understanding is there is a very hardcore group on Argent Dawn and a couple other RP servers. Thankfully, those seem to be the concentration while the rest are few and far between on other servers. |

Wander on over to Shadow Council sometime. It's the most un-IC RP server in existence, I think. Although it is amusing when someone tries to join in an OOC argument on General while still talking in bad Jamaican troll-speak. |

Lucky you, I didnt realize until it was too late how much work it was to get some honour kills on a PvE server, but luckilly, us rogues can go invisible.
I should check out how my server is doing, my ban is lifted today or tomorrow. |

I dunno how PvE servers differ in the rules. I havent even really played the game all that much so theres still quite a bit I just don't know. I'd tend to leave non-hostile enemy faction players alone in a contested zone if its just a single person not causing trouble. But lately Stangelthorn vale is just a gank-fest. I spend more time walking back to my corpse than I do gaining levels. So I just moved to a different area for now till things cool off or whatever. Southshore used to be the huge battlezone, it seems that situation may be slowly moving over to Stranglethorne (likewise, Southshore has become somewhat quiet) on my server.
Actually, I give Blizzard a lot of credit - the game is brilliantly designed in accounting for the social behavior of players IMO. Or at the least its just worked out that way. (edit: im refereing to the time before the honour system and before Battlegrounds) |

Yeah, you tellem!
They'd gut you like a fish for using their gods for sex.
Seriously, it was religion..
The whole "ANIMAL HEADS=ANTHRO" is crap.
It was just a way of relating the gods to the real world, in the same way many depictions of the christian god are human like in figure..
It was just the way they did things back then, you see it in many figures of gods/godesses..

Amusingly enough, I joined the Dracten team as an audio and concept artist last year for a few days. Turns out the leader, TalNova, is a dribbling running-around-on-all-fours-naked lunatic. I left after approximately two days, having not done a thing for them. Went on to work on Resistance and Liberation and now Iron Grip, in the time I have free from my own farming and C&C Generals mod Blitzkrieg II :P The mod looks interesting only for the sake of it being furry. Nothing particularly exciting about it. |

WHY THE FUCK, DOES EVERYONE THINK THE EYGYPTIANS WERE FURRIES?
Egyptians are demographically the opposite of furries really. They're black, prosperous, civil, theocratic, open with their (human) bodies and above all they viewed homosexuality as heinous. Do any of you know WHY Horus hates Set? It involves buttsechs.
Really the only connection between furries and eggies is that they both despise Christians.
Yes, if I took a Stym Priest around conventions and showed him what haf the people were drawing of his beloved Anubis, I think he'd mummify a few folks alive.
Still doesn't stop me from getting a chubby for good ol' 'nubie though. |

Bad furry! No biscuit!
But on the other hand...
So does anyone know of any good furry mods for anything? Exactly one comes to mind, and that isn't necessarily furry - just anthro. |

Oh my, for a forum where requestion that type of stuff is a no-no, some sure are willing to give it (or spend two seconds on google at least) away.
And Miss Cleo has ruined Tarot. The cards are based around greek mythology, not egyptian. |

I have to admit, I only became interested in WoW, or even PC games at all for that matter, when I saw that you could play as a Tauren. I'm shallow like that. If you could only play as a human or something equally boring, I probably would have never realised how great the game actually is.
As for Munchie, I do feel sorry for him at the same time as wanting to smack the stupidity out of him like a few others have said.
Plus Sibe's voice really irratated me. |

HAY GUYS REMEMBER THIS THREAD
So it seems there was a bit of an update to this situation. LIKE, A WEEK AGO. 'Course I only check LJ updates on slow work days. And I'm only dropping this here for slackers (like me) who can't be assed to look more often.
Better summary of the lulz here. Some nice commentary on the furry-addiction codependancy death spiral, some LJers who by all statistical rights should have choked on their own saliva and died by now. Good times were had by all (except Munchie, apparently back in therapy on the anti-stupid drugs). |

Wow. The more details that come out about this debacle, the sadder it becomes. I was not aware that he'd been letting a furry commune leech off him for several months prior. The guy's self-esteem must have been nearly at 0 for him to actually sell his car for these fruits.
This part really stuck out for me:
When he first left home 9 months ago, we appealed to the furry group for help in getting him to come home and getting him back on his meds, almost every response was hostile to us and supportive of him.
This is what's wrong with the fandom right here. They don't want to go on the medication they need. Doctors are evil and pills are evil, and this is why so many of them are so hopelessly dysfunctional. |

I honestly have to agree with this. I've met more people that HATE drugs, even aspirin, in the furry fandom. They are deathly scared of doctors (I just hate needles, but that's me) and refuse to go to them. I've seen people in agony at cons refuse to be taken to an emergency room because they don't want to deal with a doctor or be "forced to take drugs". |

Want to know whats worse? Remember the dumbass that DiveFox tricked into going with him? The one from PA? His mom was at AC. She likes the Furry fandom.
She is now a Furry.
Think about that. |

I wonder how many furries are Scientologists.
I wonder what Scientology thinks about furries. 'Crazy ass damn Thetans!'
Or maybe furries just fear the hy00man doctors will dissect them like some alien species. (Hey, it's a common theme in stories.) |

The problem, I suspect, stems from the fact that certain medications really are prescribed a little more eagerly than they should - Ritalin and Prozac come readily to mind. A healthy amount of skepticism is always good - but even then, that's what a second opinion is for.
In other words, feel free to double check, but if the doctors keep saying you have a chemical imbalance in your brain, you just might want to listen to them. I suspect these doctor-hating types think their personality will be erased by corrective meds, when it's actually just a matter of fixing something that's not functioning properly, like diabetics taking insulin to overcome their bad pancreas. It's not your natural personality if your brain is broken.
Ironically, it's these very mental disorders that make it so hard to reason with any of them, and convince them to take the medications they need.
Why DO the Scientologists turn their noses up at medications, anyway? Besides their disdain for psychology in general, I mean. |

From what I gather, Jehovah's Witnesses are anti-vaccinations and blood receiving, although I don't know what they feel about perscription drugs.
They also don't celebrate holidays (which means they are boring) and they don't salute the flag (which means they must be terrorists). |

One reason people who have mental problems don't take medication would be... they don't realize they have mental problems. Others won't admit they need help. And in poor lil' Munchie's case, e-doctors tell them their parents just want to keep them under control.

Officially and publically Scientologists deny chemical imbalances in the brain cause mental problems. We're allegedly led to believe this because psychiatrists are corrupt marketers manufacturing scary psychoses so they can sell you treatment - treatment that makes you sicker! Once a person donates enough cash and goes up enough OT levels (by killing orcs and being audited) they learn Scientology's actual version of events: "modern psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization's plot to drug and enslave humanity(source)." Auditing is supposedly the only way to purge yourself of these body Thetans which make you sick.
In reality, Scientology just wants your cash.

I, having once been on medication for depression; would also like to add that some people don't take their meds because it turns them into zombies. And some would rather deal with their problem on their own, than feel absolutely nothing at all.
I do however, see how someone should/would want to take medication for something like schizophrenia. |

It's amazing that most furrys don't do drugs and are vehemently against them. Cuz listening to them online, you would think they smoke a dub of crack a day.
I don't think it's the furrys though, i think it's nerds in general that are more likely to become rabidly anti drug. And nerds in general are more likely to become furry.
Obviously i'm not making some stupid drugs are cool comment (though i've done em all, cept heron and most of them were pretty cool....for a while) |

Hmm, I didn't think that was actually Munchie's mom, Whether it was or not I guess it doesn't matter cause it's all true.
Tho it does need to be said, while these people really do need help oftentimes - I think those very powerful psychoactive drugs can be really dangerous - especially when given to kids. Tho, I've heard and seen examples on both sides. I do know far more people who have worse negative effects with these types of substances that without. Including one guy I know, who was just far better off being a pot head than taking prozac. He actually stopped taking prozac when he was 13 or 14 years old because he didn't like how it made him feel, and I think its a real good thing his parents listened to him on it. He started smoking a lot of dope and partying all the time, but hes really much better for it. Whatever that's worth.
They really just need to be more careful when prescribing all this shit. Way too many kids probably get put on ritalin than nessecary etc. A lot of this probably comes from the way medicine is coming to be viewed in this country - Its more of a product to be advertised and sold (pushed) rather than just another tool to be used by doctors when it's deemed necessary.
Me and my friends used to joke about back in the late 90's but looking back on it - its not so funny. I'd go into a doctors office for a cough and left with a prescription for albuterol, FloNase (some nasal steriod) and some other shit. Everysingle one of my friends would leave the Doctor's with refillable presciptions for FloNase no matter what they went in for. I used it once and threw it in the garbage. I alctually used to use the albuterol for years, cause I had developed an asthma-like condition from smoking pot and cigarettes. But it got worse the more I used the albuterol it seemed (about a year). Eventually I just stopped using it all at once and ignored the tightness in my lungs and eventually the problem receeded (somewhat). Funny that.. |

I love how a lot of drug commercials these days are all "Ask your doctor about such-and-such..." If you REALLY needed that drug, shouldn't your doctor already KNOW about it?
Yeah, I realize that's been done by several stand-up comedians, but, honestly...wtf?
We briefly touched on brain-chemistry-altering drugs in a Philosophy of Mind class I was in a few years back, but I don't recall a whole lot. Something to the effect of, "If a substance can alter your brain chemistry so much that your behavior and personality change completely, are you really still the same person, with the same mind?" While I'd never accuse the average fucked-in-the-head furry of being a philosopher of anything deeper than "Is it gay if sie is a herm?", that sort of question could have some merit. If someone is so incredibly hell-bent on maintaining a particular set of thought patterns, no matter how dangerous they could potentially be, and the meds they are on disrupt those thought patterns...well, natrually they're going to ditch the meds.
Also, CS majors shouldn't take 400-level Philosophy classes. |

On an unrelated note, I still cannot believe it got to the point where they had to develop an entirely new set of pronouns for hermaphrodites.
As I said before, I do think doctors are little too eager to prescribe drugs, but on the other hand there's an awful lot of cases that aren't even remotely borderline. There was definitely nothing fooling about my brother's near-asphyxiation from asthma. Likewise you have cases of bi-polar, obsessive-compulsive, schizophrenia, and so on where there's no question of the diagnosis. I think friend Munchie falls squarely into that category.
There's the fair argument that medication can turn you into a zombie, but there's also a number of alternate medications in most cases to get around that. And, honestly, better to be a doped up zombie than spend every last cent you have riding the train to meet some 14 year old boy for sex. |

Delurk.
I personally think the kid's better off in the Rosemary Kennedy mode having a job* than with the furry clusterfuck acting irresponsibly.
Around here head pills are quite rare, though one friend is popping Zolofts**, mainly because it isn't as encouraged around here by the pill corps.
*Anything other than comic book store clerk or Zoo pooper scooper.
**Which I commented "Whoa! Zolofts. Furries eat these like tic-tacs." She looked at me quite oddly, though. |

Hi SLaitila. Yah, I believe if he's visibly fucked up in that way, and medication could help, he'd damn well better take it. He's leeching off people with jobs, rude little snot.

Wtf? He took a train to have sex with a 14 year old boy, he doesn't need a job he needs to rot in prison. Maybe he can get a job being the cellblock D skull fuckee. |

I knew this furry who was a satanist because "If god really exists and wants us to be happy, he would have made me a dog!"

Oh, I guess I did'nt notice that you had lined that site in your post, my bad. It's just a commonly referenced site whne it comes to Scientology. I got alot more to look at, but I'll just save time by not linking them here, as they don't cover Co$ in detail like that one does. |

I've found that 9 out 10 satanists/wiccans/neo-pagans choose their "religion" for equally arbitrary reasons. In truth, all they want is something that is A: Cool, and B: Offends their parents. They should really amend age laws to include a statute that you're also not allowed to claim a religion until you're 21, at which point you have to take a written test. |

Isn't satanism the religion of yourself?
It's something like, god is keeping your divinity down, so instead you worship yourself?
Bleargh, theology sucks, ESPECIALLY in the fandumb |

There's Satanism (in LaVeyan/Church of Satan, Temple of Ra, and other organized forms) and theres GARRR DEVIL WORSHIP SATAN ROXORS HEAVY METAL. The proper organized Satanism is like Tass describes. The common misconception is THROWIN' THE HORNS AND SCARIN' THE FOLKS, like CC's buddy. (Real Satanists don't believe in Satan. What a country!)
Monkey King: I hung out with the Wiccans in high school. I still keep track of some of 'em, they've all quit, and one's studying to be a Christian priest FFS. The fluffies tend to settle down after they move out of the basement and deal with real people and real jobs. (Probably once they realize their parents don't care, and neither does anyone else.) I personally trust the organized religions that provide brick and mortar support groups over the neopagan groups that spread largely over the Internet. There are tangible benefits to knowing a large local community of fairly honest people, matters of faith entirely aside. They might all pitch in to help if you're in honest trouble, and I mean with monetary aid, donations of goods, and job assistance - none of that prayer bullshit spread by Internet-Xians. What can Internet friends offer? A couch in another city, a room in an apartment shared with other drama generators? |

There are a couple different offshots of "Satanism". The one I followed was about being true to yourself and true to your nature. There is the "afront to God" Satanism, which are just out to try and piss off Christians as much as possible. They usually come from strict families and are just really trying to piss off mommy and daddy. There is the sexual Satanism, which is basically a religious excuse to have orgies, least that's how I look at it. And a couple others I wont go into. |

..helping hands when moving.
If there's one thing that you can use your internet friends for than it's when you have to move from/to/inside a city with some of them in the vicinity. My lazy stoner friends all magically disapear whenever someone they know has to move, yet my furry internet friends come crawlin out the woodworks as soon as the word is out someone they know has heavy furniture to carry.
Wether the guys showing up are competent or not is another question of course, but I just can't comprehend this irrational willingness to help with tedious work.
Maybe it's a german furries thing... |

Naa. Same here, least around me. Course the offer of beer and pizza afterwards doesn't hurt. |
