None of what you mentioned is remotely furry. Furries like to appropriate material, but only for their own twisted purposes (i.e. Lion King porn) - they do not latch on to just anything anthropomorphic. It's noteworthy how furries totally ignore most "anthro" creations from outside the fandom - with a few notable exceptions, which is usually that which by some unfortunate fluke reminds vaguely of furries' own products.

Ya know, i've always wondered about a member of one of my favorite underground hiphop groups. Aesop the Black Wolf. Take a gander at some of his t shirts and album covers. One of his albums is also called in wolfs clothes.

Actually Baserock, I'd argue that he isn't. Hip hop culture oddly embraces anthropomorphized animals on the whole. Case in point is how many varieties of hoodies one can buy with Tweety Bird or Taz on it looking badass. Also, Snoop Doggy Dogg sorta set a trend with having one of his album covers feature him as an anthro Doberman. After that canines became a popular symbol for rap/hip hop/urban stuff. I mean, hell, look at how much of a poser Kid Rock is and even he has an anthro dog head on his record label symbol.

I personally dislike a lot of rap, but gangtstas are not furry... by a long shot.

But I've checked out a lot of furry sites and artwork and lurked at a lot of furry forums and messageboards (and emailed with a few select furries, who are fairly normal and balanced people with just too much of an interest in furry porn). I'm not making any claim that my impression of furrydumb is more correct than yours, but this OMG EVERYTHING IS FURRY reaction I've only seen very rarely. Most furries seem well aware that they are part of a tiny fandom/lifestyle/community/whatever they choose to call it. Most furries are fixated on furrydumb's own products - they extremely rarely care much about, say, Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse. Yes, some furries use the term "furry" to describe everything with animal characters in it - as in "Maus is a furry graphic novel!". But that's just a use of the word "furry" as a replacement for "cartoon animal" or "anthropomorphic". I mean, come on, what's the point of saying Björk or Walt Disney are furries? Saying it doesn't make it so. Only people actively involved in furrydumb are furries, and most furries seem well aware of that. If not, they'd have no reason to bitch and moan about the "unfair" portrayal of furries on CSI and MTV Sex 2K, because pretty much everyone's a furry by the logic you present.

Yeah, and the NOFX guy seems genuine, but they've had anthro and pseudo-bestial art on their album covers before. Like I said before, Bush hating angry young teens = NOFX and fans, and also equal furries. So there is bound to be an overlap.
