But, on a somewhat related note, what about those who have overweight personas, does that follow the inverse of the aneorexic persona rule?

Of course, a lot of fans are trying to invent the person they wish they could be, rather than the loser fanboy they really are. It's easier to get online and invent something worthwhile than it is to get off your ass and actually go out and make something of yourself.

I think when you have a "fursona" that's a big line in the sand to cross into full blown furrydumb. The next step is regular con visitations, then rollplaying. This is all my opinion but why have a fursona for other than rollplay (seriously i don't know much about this stuff, enlighten me)? And if you rollplay, isn't your character gonna get fucked? I'm sure that's why fursonas are rarely fat smelly slobs.

If you have a 'fursona', you likely either MUCK a fair bit (ugh), or have it so that others draw 'art' of your character. The issue though is that furries generally won't draw your fursona unless you pay them, draw them too, write them porn, or have RP and/or convention sex with them.

Also, not all Roleplay is sex, much of it is just mindless emo escapism. Example;

*Triagan, the vampiric half-wolf/half-demon/half-giraffe looks out over the desolate wasteland that once was his home, when he was head priest to the ruby goddess Shylaric. Now, alone, he muddles through the barren plain.*

"Woe is me..."

Actually, roleplay used to be decent on a lot of MUCKs, where it was more-or-less tabletop RPG stuff done in a text-setting. The time that killed it for me was on Furscape a couple years ago when we were supposed to be exploring a new hypergate that would take us a million miles from nowhere...

The engineer and her assistant ended up screwing next to the warp drive. The captain 'magically' made her ex-boyfriend appear on the ship (even though it was expressly said it couldn't happen), declared him 2nd in command, dragged him into her cabin and they were never seen again. I, being the pilot and navigator, got sick of this crap, aimed the ship at the nearest star, locked the controls and left. No clue what happened after that.

Furries really are incapable of RPing.

Yes, but he hasn't written in over 2 years, and it's a pen name, not a fursona, as the gay blade would be too cool a columnist for such a thing. It is noteworthy, however, in the knife's style of using obscure references and linking random words to otherwise unrelated sites that were often NSFW, he did once link to Xydexx's page.

Well, for the ALL NATURAL HERBAL crap, it says that diabetes is less effected by the placebo effect, especially if it's a sugar pill...

Regarding Viagra, you know as well as I do that it was originally designed as drug for blood pressure. The now primary effect never dawned on them, until the testers (for FDA approval and whatnot) kept asking for samples. The thing that bugs me the most about it is all the comedians saying it's a statement about the scientists, when instead, it's a statement about society.
