I used to hang around this forum a couple of months ago....

Just crawled out of the woodwork to ask if the CYD site still has that article by New Meat(?), the one where he wrote about his weird, Lion King-obsessed school buddy.

I canīt find it.

Speaking of which, there are a couple of articles I can't find. Like the one about someone drawing a picture of Minerva Mink and Amy the Squirrel as mothers or something?
Link?

Use the "Search" feature on the front page. It finds that one OK...

...but not that one.

But, er, how come these articles aren't mentioned in the list of articles? People can't very well search for something if they don't know it's supposed to be there?

And yeah...how come those links aren't available to all!
Put 'em up, boys, eh?

The comment about Kit'n'Kay Boodle is very correct. I mean, WTF? Okay, lousy sex joke strip...

Then some sort of point is made about oppression and THE GODS OF YIFF?

Seriously, I'm out. Can't figure out what to say.

I am impressed that someone found the patience to actually write a review to that. I could not stand comic anymore after reading about 3 or 4 pages.

I was hoping this was about his really old stuff, like from the days he made comics. His Jack Chick parody was the absolute funniest thing I have ever read or seen. I couldn't even laugh anymore I was just kind of exhaling from empty lungs until my head actually felt like it was purple! The whole time I had SNOT dripping out of my nose and then I'd finally look at the next SENTENCE and the process would start all over again. Put a link up to that one New Meat so people can see what I mean.

Gene catlow and all furry "Slice of life" comics in general tend to suck huge amounts of ass, especially when they have humans and furries. The concept of seeing how two vastly different cultures is good, but too often the writers make it "FURRIES = GOOD HUMANS ARE TEH EVIL!!!111". Hasn't the idea of furries being EVIL ever struck these guys? Ever? Not once? Really? Not even a teeny tiny bit?

Once in a while, but only when it's 'cool', like the furries are all fascists or somesuch.
