For a while I was trying to figure out what exactly it was about Kit N Kay Boodle that seemed so familiar
a lot of people mentioned childrens books
and well, with all the talk about Cat in the Hat and what a shitbomb movie it is lately ..it just kinda hit me a minute ago
I think Katellis has a kind of Dr. Seuss-Porno thing going on
i dunno if anyone expressed that idea before but ..whatever , heres some URLs
KitNKay
this is unfortunatly the easiest art gallery of Seuss stuff i could find
U decide |

I don't think it's exact, but I can definately see a connection. It's probably about as close to Dr. Seuss porn that you can find on the internet (and if there IS actually Dr. Seuss porn on the internet... furries will have destroyed the ONE THING that they haven't already destroyed. It will be a sad day for humanity) |

Hmmm.... The artwork is very similar to that of Albert Temple, and I notice it gives both he and his fiancee, Tawana Gilroy, credit as far as creative story input.
I do hope this is merely a coincidence, and that their drawing styles are just similar. I mean, I know Al has tried his hand at 'risque' art, especially between himself and Tawana, but I have trouble believeing that a friendly, well-behaved gent like him would ever do anything THIS fargone! |

Ahhahahah. Dude, he was staunch Christian until he got laid. The things he draws actually reflect his sexual appetites in real life. That's what's so creepy and horrible about Kit & Kay. The artists actually superimpose their own sexual fantasies and sex lives onto the characters. |

If your REALLY interested in the works of Dr. Suess (Theodore Suess Geisel), I highly recommend the book Dr. Suess Goes To War |

Wait, you're talking about the K&K guy, right? Or the Gene Catlowe guy? I don't care what anyone says, I still believe they're both the same person. The styles look the same to me and they both suck in that endearing batshit insane way that furry comics do. The only difference is one is, like, DEEP and the other is just retarded smut. |

That book rocked. It's like the cold war in preschool form. |

I agree. They HAVE to be the same person. Their artwork is EXACTLY the same! There's a little more doubt that with "Eric Schwartz is TDK", but not significantly more. |

I'd love to see an exhaustive technical investigation to see if this claim is funded or not. Like that TDK/Eric Schwartz comparison I once saw. :) |

Please, their artwork is vaguely similar at best! You're just trying to make my head explode, aren't you?
This is as bad as that "Desiree Lee doesn't really exist" idea! No, worse! |

Genghis , your thinking of the book The Great Butter Battle
The book I mentioned earlier, Dr. Suess Goes To War, is more of a collection of Dr. Suess's editorial cartoons that he made for "PM Magazine" during World War II. |

Lots. You should have seen him before he found her though. Very strongly christian into the whole no-sex-before-marriage, anti-homosexuality bit. You couldn't find a single smattering of even mild innuendo in his art, comics or anything else, he was that far gone. I just find it funny when someone holds such staunch values then drops them the moment they get their dick wet. |

They're all just part of a furry art clique gone horribly wrong. |

Gene and Tawana are a black couple, Katalis and his fiancee are a white couple. You can't get any more proof than that that they're 2 different groups of people and all four art artist with four different art styles really. No TDK/Schwartz contraversy there other than the fact they know each other and have used each other's characters.
Katalis at one point had his RL picture online somewhere awhile ago (and he does resemble the scruffy look of his character) while I saw Gene at an Anthrcon maybe...3, 4 years ago. |

Yeah, upon some closer inspection, they do have somewhat different linework. The style is definately very similar, though, as if they've both influenced each other to the point that their styles are getting a bit indistinct.
But yeah, you're right, there are definately differences in the linework. I retract my previous post. |

Okay, they might have different physical bodies, but they're still one big hivemind of suck to me.
I take no consolation in knowing that there are, in fact, twice as many idiots churning out this crap as I previously believed. |
