You can apparently get both artificial and real civet oil (though I guess you have to drain the civet’s glands for the real stuff, which might involve killing it)

That's been around for a while. They have been selling large bears and such with strapon since the 70s. What scared the hell out of me is when I was screwing around reading PornResource.com and one of the regular writers was talking about Fursuitsex and BeastPaint being examples of niches that porn producers need to go into.

I did not want to see that.

I'm still not sure if that's supposed to be a real pornsite or just a pretentious art-fag project. The promise of 1,000,000 (ONE MILLION!!!!!11!!1!) PHOTOS seems dubious, if anything. Still, overall it seems a genuine attempt to trick furries into signing up for the 'adult verification service', which is how these sites make money. The site/AVS owners no doubt see a sex driven, internet-born culture full of shlubs even more dimwitted, weak-willed, and desperate than your average porn addict, and decided to go in for the kill.

I can't blame the site owners, though. It must be a crowded market; the porn industry, what with classic fetishes like BDSM and the like practically mainstream and all the crackdowns on the underage stuff. I mean, a site owner's got to survive, right?

Stand out! Take chances! Explore new territory, as it were.

It's obvious these guys aren't furries, BUT THEY'RE TRYING, and that's what counts. I only pray their actions don't open up the world to horrors heretofore unimaginable. It doesn't take my All-Seeing Eye of Agamotto to tell me they're playing with forces even their jaded minds cannot fully fathom.

Well, the photos are probably from some dealer who has a stable of photographers churning out tons of stuff. With hard drive space being cheap and all, 1 million photos isn't that hard to believe. Considering most are "Internet Quality" photos it wouldn't be hard for me to believe they have that many on an 80GB drive.

And that's what most of these guys try to do. The AVS sites are only interested in return on investments. You get some chick you paid $200 to pose naked with a plush bear or skunk, that gives you at least two or three markets to go after. The guys who like young or young acting girls, general perves, plushophiles and probably a couple others. Get some twink doing the same thing (guys are cheaper at $100 or less) and go from there. You get some guy with a hardcore fetish (no, I don't mean bondage, I mean a fetish that they are really into) willing to pay to see more of it and you assume he knows others that are into it, it's golden. Even at $10 a month that's a decent return on investment if you can reuse a gallery to attract 10 to 20 paying members.

Having hosted way too many porn sites in my time as a hosting manager for a large ISP, I can tell you most of these guys don't even give a shit as long as their checks from the various AVS and program companies is large.
