From the Southwern California Furries Yahell Group.
just looking for furry friends in my town... I live in Lancaster , Ca.
Well here is a breakdown of me, It would be great if anyone responds
in the same style it is alot easier thnx :D
Me:
Well I am 19 and I am currently going to college (well in February I
am going back lol.) I am a very avid reader and artist/musician. I
live in a piss hole town called Lancaster about an hour from La. Also
Known As: The Antelope Valley (yuck.) I am Bisexual (no preference, I
have been with guys and girls), I love to Dom and be the Snuggler, but
then sometimes I wanna be the sub and lay there snuggled and that goes
for sex too ;). I smoke cigarettes though I am trying hard to quit, I
also like to drink occasionally but I keep to a minimum (for example I
will go to a party have a drink, then the next party I might decide to
get belligerently drunk :D but I don't get drunk that often usually
just a couple beers or a shot or something but it isn't all the time)
I love hookah bars *cries* there isn't one in my town sadly.
Art/Creativity:
They are both a HUGE HUGE plus in my book I love the smart
intellectual fur, who will go to a museum or enjoy an art show. I love
to draw, although I cant do it very well but I will draw on the
computer. I lover any kind of art medium from drawing to oil clay to
me it is all an expression of free will and a desire to create.
Reading:
I LOVE TO READ!!!! Yup I have hundreds of books and I have read about
75% of them. My favorite genre is sci-fi and fantasy *drools*. I love
the idea of creating your own little world within each book, and the
fact you can revisit them on each rereading of the book. I have books
I have read over a hundred times like the book "White Fang" a definant
read for all furries, and a series called "The Sword of Truth" by the
author "Terry Goodkind. Poetry, I consider myself a poet though I take
most of my influence from Jim Morrison and occasionally I write
coherent stuff.
Music:
Big music geek. I love anything from Dj. Quik to Afro Celt Sound
System. I am VERY open minded when it comes to music I will listen to
any genre as long as it sounds good. Ok like I used to HATE 90% of all
rap…then I was turned onto Dj. Quik by a friend now I want all his
albums and I am going to a show. I really enjoy Electronic music and
Acoustic Guitar (I.e. James Taylor and Jimmy Buffet) because I have
been playing and they are my musical inspiration…though I want to mix
acoustic guitar and techno, it is proving to be quite difficult…
TV:
The evil boob tube… I hate most TV like reality television is rotting
our great nation. I do watch some mostly it is either something funny
or educational. Channels I like:
BBC, IFC, Bravo, TLC, Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, Cartoon
Network, Nickelodeon (well it depends on what is on), VH1 (if they are
playing music videos), and anything else along those lines :D
Movies:
I love movies as well because to me it is also a form of art and you
know how I feel about art ;).I like everything from comedies and mushy
mushy chick flicks to big kersplosion films (and yes I said film lol).
My absolute favorite films are the independent make you think films
like Donny Darko, Waking Life, and Rushmore.
Religion:
I am a wiccan, pagan, witch…whatever you want to call me (I prefer
pagan personally) I do practice, usually it is only the Sabbat rituals
(sabbat is the 8 holidays on the 4 equinox's then the 4 (vernal I
think…hmm I cant remember lol) but other than that I am not REALLY
open with it. I don't have a problem with any other religion, I have
my beliefs and no one can convince me otherwise…and I have had people
try lol my old Sculpture teach was ALWAYS trying to convert me its
fine though I will politely decline.
Anime: IOMG I LOVE IT!!!! If you havent already noticed I love anime...
Especially Inuyahs and FMA(Full Metal Alchemist) there are way to many
more to list so :P but I love it even bad anime :D
RP:
I like to RP (I love para or more but one liners is kool)...oh and
don't think that just because I am talking to you we will yiff
automatically, I would love to learn a little about you first :D. Also
I LOVE to yiff but I will also sometimes want to make a huge plot
before the act for example me and a friend had one where it was
dinner, dancing and a movie then finally the yiff..
Also I am looking to do a comission of me, I cnat pay money but will
trade for something, contact me for more information.
If anyone is interested respond, email, or IM me

"Blessed Be"? There's only one furry I know of that signs his posts with "Blessed Be" and he's a considerable ass. It could be someone else with a similar sig, but how likely is that?
I love how he's Internet poor.
Also I am looking to do a comission of me, I cnat pay money but will

Someone never told him that a free commission is an oxymoron. Doing art for free is called a request. Better hope you find someone charitable there, Johnny. |

Well if he gives something in exchange it could be argued it's still a commisision. I probably don't want to know what sort of deal he thinks he can cut though.
Also the word yiff makes me feel awkward whenever I hear (okay in reality read) someone say it.
Which brings up the question is anyone crazy enough to name their child this http://webapp.wizards.com/DCIRanking/details.asp?player=1178888 this guy is in his early 20's 22-23 I don't really know so if this is his real name I doubt it could have been intentional..... someone give me a timeline.
Introductions must be awkward. |

I have read over a hundred times like the book "White Fang" a definant read for all furries,
I HATEHATHATE when furries try to claim Peices of Literature as 'furry'. "White Fang" is NOT a furry book. Sure, furries read it, like it, and probably masturbate to it, but I loathe when they do this. It's stupid. Especially when they call "Animal Farm" furry. If it has ANY furriness in it (which is unlikley...I doubt George Orwell had dogfuckers in mind as he wrote it), it's an anti-furry sentiment.
God I'm reading too deep into this |

I think they are honestly one of the few groups delusional enough to do this. At least I guess the Trekkies and Otakus have professional works which they formed the grouping after, so they have no need to say... claim Bast was the first Anime catgirl. Furries made their little following around itself much like a dog chasing its tail) so they get all insecure and claim their hobby and/or fetish as 'one of the oldest blah blah blah'. Annoying really, and easy to spot when you place yourself in a third person sociological perspective... but any of us can see how if you're a young wide-eyed furry, the line between Red Wall and Jack can get blurred.
Oh, and I hate it when furries (like this guys does) refer to real life sex as 'yiff', always have. It's called 'sex', dumbass. See how the bit above about Rping bleeds in to the 'yiff' bit? It ends in him talking about real sex as 'yiff'. He doesn't differenciate between online typefucking, and honest real-life sex. So fucking sad. |

Jack London never wrote any furry literature. He wrote a story about a dog who became feral and wolfdog who became a pet among other things, but furry he ain't.
I do however consider Brian Jacques' Redwall series to be furry literature. It might as well be. |

I think it has less to do with delusion than with some realisation among furries that they, as opposed to fans of anime, Star Trek, Elvis or whatever, don't have professional works to obsess about. While the do-it-yourself aspect of furry fandom has a certain charm, it also means most furry works are, well, not very good (duh!). So they latch on to some good quality works that have the right "furry" appeal, even if the creators of those works never intended it.
But yeah, the whole furry "everything with animals in it is furry" shtick is annoying.

According to the Wikipedia entry for "Yiff":
An alternative etymology exists; around the time that yiff came to exist in the furry community, an August 27, 1990 cover story in Fortune Magazine coined the term "Yiffies", describing a new breed of worker, the "Young, Independent, Freedom-minded Few" (a naming convention somewhat akin to that used with the yuppies, Young Urban Professionals). While this generation contained many of the first FurryMUCKers, the connection between the two terms is subject to speculation.
The term "yiff" did not exist back when this guy was named, and it makes sense seeing as how the official "fandom" was formed right about the time the internet (not the WWW, mind you) got popular with non-government people/researchers in the late 80's, with things like IRC, MUCKS, UNIX telnet accounts, Gopher (c'mon, I know some of you old farts remember THAT), etc. |

Wow. It's like Dr. Frankenstein took the parts of various deceased furries, and combined all the worst parts to create some kind of super-furry.
Nowadays I imagine Mr. Savanah goes by his middle name. That boy must have been born under the mother of all unlucky stars. |

Amusing that this Yiffy Savannah is in the DCI. Magic has started including a pro player card in each deck you buy, so I hope he makes it big just so I can have a Yiffy Savannah trading card. |

No no no, God no. Those things are embarrassing enough as is.
Besides I strongly suspect this is not his real (at least not by birth) name. |

The instant I see Narnia porn, I'm bleaching my eyeballs. :(
AND OF COURSE THE GUY'S NAME ISN'T "YIFFY". It's probably "John" or something, which he found too 'mundane' and went to have his name legally changed or some shit.
Of course, I'd like to the reactions of the people going through his files... |

I HATEHATHATE when furries try to claim Peices of Literature as 'furry'. "White Fang" is NOT a furry book. Sure, furries read it, like it, and probably masturbate to it, but I loathe when they do this.
I think they are honestly one of the few groups delusional enough to do this.
He would've saved a lot of time if his profile had simply read:
I need a fuck sooooo bad! Contact me PLEASE!
Best personal ad ever.
Recently now I'm hearing that NARNIA, is the greatest FURRY book series EVER. Personally I don't like CS Lewis and his crappy fantasy land but if your a furry YOU MUST LOVE IT. All this caus eof the movie... tsk tsk.
I pretty much know that, I say his name "might" be Yiffy in the same sense that Alabama "might" vote Democrat in 2008. |

Narnia is totally vore. Also the movie is stupid, because actress playing witch is ugly. Wtf indeed.

Don't even fucking kid about that The Chronicles of Narnia being furry.
