This is so damn stupid. That's akin to saying that if one's religion prohibits bad actions, you can't play a badguy in the movies because of the way the evil character is portrayed.
I guess Ebon would have preferred a CGI-wolf (so he could photomanipulate it into 'art') or the wolf to be portrayed as a nobel savior of mankind or for the whole thing to just be one giant wolf sex orgy.
Fucktard therians. |

I saw a dead dog in the road today, it had been hit by a car and there was a long strip of red stained concrete where the car had dragged the dog and worn the remaining blood into the ground. Ebon needs to fix the murder NOW. STOP ROADKILL NOW~ |

Ten years ago, I would have actually gave a shit if there was a movie that portrayed wolves as bad guys, but today I am content to say...
IT'S JUST A FRICKIN' MOVIE! A WORK OF FICTION!

Lobotomy, Dr. Stoneth.
Anyway, I bet Mr. Greathouse masturbated to the movie and made a couple of pics of this "Wolf" having sex with a Witch... dude (hy00man females are ICKY!). Of course, actress they found for the movie is fugly and she looks like a man anyway.
Alternatively, "Wolf' would be raping these stupid children to death or something. Business as usual. |

Holy overreaction, Batman. You'd think they'd be more pissed at a movie like Brother Bear because, well, it sucked all over. |

How old can Ebon and these people possibly be? There's no fucking way any person older than maybe 14 could be so incredibly fucking dense that they get pissed off because animals they like are being portrayed as bad guys IN A FICTIONAL CHILDREN'S MOVIE. |

At least he doesn't seem to know much about Narnia. He'd be going on about burning the books and evil Christians and stuff.
From one of the links posted
However, this wasn't the first nor the last of C.S. Lewis' books. And times change as well as perspectives. Still, the film makers could have adapted to modern perspectives and information about Wolves instead of promoting them as evil in this film.
Damn you, C. S. Lewis! You're not modern enough!
God forbid that they find out the wolf's name actually comes from Norse lore. :P |

When I first started reading, I thought that this was going to be about them getting their wolves from a farm that beat or starved them or something.
But instead these people are outraged that the wolves are being potrayed as bad guys. God, what an eye-roller. There are unimaginable things that happen to animals in human care every day, but this is what these losers are focusing on?
I hope for the sake of his own karma after this nonsense Ebon is at least involved with a (besides wolves) animal rescue or donates to something. He's going to reach the afterlife and Buddha is going to be all "what the shit was that all about"? |

No "animals"... Wolves. Big W wolves, like W in George W Bush big. They're like a gods to them, you see. Seriously. Kind of gods you can shoot from airplane and make them cry.
Also, James Greathouse isn't into a leather straps-clad anthro wolves, he's into "Wolves" skull-fuck raping people to death. And eating them. Alive. At once. And of course doing him in the ass. What a wonderful person James Greathouse is! |

He throws a strop on Deviant Art because they tried to censor all his wolf anuses and obvious beastiality, but yet he believes wolves being portrayed as less than little angels should be censored? He's got his priorities all wrong.
I understand where he's coming from on some small level, but ranting about how certain animals are portrayed in a FANTASY film is just stupid in my eyes. I own one snake and three rats and its amazing how almost everyone I know is too afraid to touch them as they think they must be vicious...although NONE of them have ever bitten me at all. The misconceptions about snakes and rats do piss me off, but saying the rats in 'Willard' or the snakes in....some other film I can't think of right now were exploited is just idiotic. |

Actually, I must confess*, the fact that wolves are portrayed as villains is a minor reason I don't wish to see this movie. Hey, I like** wolves, okay? The main reason being I just feel the religious overtones will be too heavy for my personal taste. But don't get me wrong, if you wanna see it, go ahead. Hey, I hope you like it.
*Blame my Catholic upbringing for my overwhelming urge to confess my shortcomings
** I like them... LIKE... I don't think I am one and I don't want to have sex with one! Get it? Got it? Good. |

From TFA...
"We're fighting a public battle over the 'big, bad wolf,'" she says. "It's all fairy tales." While it's true, she notes, that wolves "play the bad guys" in the Narnia flick, she believes that "the fact that these animals were trained for their parts really blows the 'big, bad wolf' out of the water."
To prove her point further, Brown has arranged to have a wolf dog on hand at the Hollywood-Regal Cinema in Asheville during the film's opening this Friday, Dec. 9.
In other words, she's actually making an EFFORT to educate others on the true nature of wolves as something other than savage monsters.
What have YOU done, Greathouse, aside from growl and spit at anyone who looks at you sideways? |

Wolves are stupid animals. Amongst other animals some would say they are quite brilliant but from where I stand... dumb animal. If a wolf was smart enough to say, "Hey... don't exploit me." Then this wouldn't be a problem. Sure they don't have the physical capability to speak but if they were smart, they'd find a way to clearly express themselves in a civil manner. But the reality is theyll bite and growl at anything that moves.
Human stupidity is indeed infinite *growls*
In conclusion, wolves are imbeciles who are on this earth to be exploited and prodded for our amusement.
Makes about as much sense as Ebon... |

It's significant what's NOT being said here. He's getting all in a snit over wolves being portrayed as villains, but at the same time, through his own actions, he's saying it IS okay for wolves to be portrayed as sex objects. If Ebon really claims to idolize wolves so much, maybe he should have a little chat with some feminists about what sexual objectification means. By many standards he's just as guilty of painting wolves in a demeaning light as C.S. Lewis supposedly is. |

You guys just don't grasp extents of Greathouse's depravity. And hypocrisy, too. He wouldn't complain NOT AT ALL, if this "Wolf" would be potrayed as a brutal killing machine AND ultraviolent rape beast, like in his so-called "art" I've seen once. I guess!
Of course, it's all very unfair for a real wolves. They're weak and cowardly animals (totally if compared to, say, bears), unless rabid or REALLY FUCKING hungry. They're also just very dumb compared to men. Even sociopaths like Greathouse. (Btw, so-idolised horses are stupid when compared to... pigs. Funny, eh?)
Wolves are traditional human symbols of strenght and honor and stuff in the human soicieties from ancient Rome to Native Americans to Chechnya, so I guess maybe it was man who changed them (he REALLY changed them when creating dogs, at least). But than again, bears changed little. You don't even have a domesticated bears. But because there's no bear equivalent of "Ebon Lupus" I know about, I think they're just not sexy. This, or maybe James Greathouse just needs some self-justification for his deranged dog fucking.
I'm going to say JAMES GREATHOUSE for every occasion, because I guess he hates his hy00man name. But it's okay, because I hate James Greathouse person. Also, this movie sucks. |

Furry definitions of fantasy-
Wolves as villians, monsters, or fairytale bogeymen? Bad.
Wolves as sexified hornballs lusting for steamy man-sex? Hawt.
What I don't understand is why noone is speaking up for the polar bears, white tigers, and reindeer that were also portrayed as evil! Fursecution looms nigh! =) |

hahahaha that forum is gay :D
but, regardless of this, you have to take into account the fact that C.S. Lewis never wanted his books made into live action films in the first place since he was so devout that the idea of such heresy as anthropomorphic creatures on the big screen made him die inside.
Lets turn this thread into something more than an argument for or against the integrity of wolves because we all know that they don't exist. |

You guys just don't grasp extents of Greathouse's depravity. And hypocrisy, too.
Or stark raving insanity. Because he's a lunatic and most of his actions have no logical reason for happening, I don't think Ebon should be analyzed too closely, just enjoyed.
- He made his own home address and full name available to the public when he already knew that he'd be investigated for animal abuse.
-Sheer dumb luck that could only come to a person oblivious to the fact that they're doing anything that society would look down on. I.E. He somehow tricked some environmentalists/animal activists into using his artwork for protesting aerial wolf hunting. I'm assuming that none of these people know about his other artwork.
-He registered to Wolfhome, a site that will ban you for using the word "gay", and uploaded a whole slew of lovingly rendered poses of wolves having explicit sex. It's obvious that he did not believe he would be banned for this.
-He bangs his dog.
-His dog probably no longer lives with him/never existed
-Alledgedly brought down a healthy deer and delivered the killing blow WITH HIS MOUTH.
I'M LOVIN IT |

hey, rats are my favourite animals but I'm not concerned to how they're portrayed in 'Willard' or the hundreds of other films they're shown to be bad guys in. I also have a pet snake and it does annoy me when people get the wrong idea about harmless ones being 'evil' or whatnot, but blaming the film industry is the same as blaming video games for teen violence.... |

People like Ebon have an enemies-everywhere complex. He needs to find a new flavor-of-the-month evil hy00mon if he is to keep up appearances and likely keep on living. I ask why he gives a shit about how a movie protrays wolves if he himself is such a wildman and doesn't care about human society.
Think of these people like a cowardly Stalin, and the world will make a lot more sense. |

A polar bear on a tropical island doesn't even make sense. They're only way up north. Everyone knows that. I could write television better than that...and I'm a lousy writer. What's next? An army of Nazi loyalist penguins conquering Equador? |

An army of Nazi loyalist penguins conquering Equador? Now that actually sounds like an entertaining TV show.
Dibs on the copyright. I'm such a genius. |

What I banned you for was the comment you made about shooting squirrels with a BB gun. This is cruelty to animals... it's very human... and it's something I refuse to tolerate in those present here. I do not well regard animal abusers of any kind.
Unless you didn't notice wolves eat squirrels. among other woodland creatures too.
Haha, even Greathouse's loyalists call him on his bullshit. |

And did you see that episode of Lost with the evil polar bear?
A polar bear on a tropical island doesn't even make sense. They're only way up north. Everyone knows that. I could write television better than that...and I'm a lousy writer.
That was acknowledged within the episode as part of the island's mystery - like the invisible monster and visions of the deceased. |

Oh. Well, if you ask me, it passes off as more stupid than "mysterious". |

Sweet jesus I remember this forum being featured on weekend web a few months ago. One of the things I love about these otherkin lunatics is how they compare their beliefs about being a past wolf in another life or whatever to common native american belief systems. But I sincerely doubt that ANY native american tribe made it apart of their beliefs to beat off to the idea of having a wolf as a spirit animal, or going far enough to have sex with one, which I doubt any of these degenerates would actually do. But hey its one less sexually depraved lunatic like Ebon in the world, so who can complain? |

Funny thing. I added this comment, and it wound up in under a different topic. Oh well :)
I saw that movie the other day.
Why isn't anyone speaking up for all the other 'evil' animals in the witch's army? Polar bears? Musk Oxen? They're unfairly portrayed! |
