Post subject: Furries in Argentina. |
|
|
While I was advertising the translation to Spanish on some Spanish-speaking comics forums, somebody, there in an Argentinian forum, defined my stuff as "Furry!"
The thread is available at http://www.portalcomic.com/foro/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=204, and for those that don't speak Spanish, I'll tell you that the first message is an introduction of the strip. The second one is the welcome from the webmaster, and the third one my reply. A fourth message by another poster says, "Furry!" and my reply follows:
"No way. I'm annoyed at the mania furry fans have of claiming anything featuring anthro stuff as "furry". I used to be linked with the furry fandom or a long time, but since the only art appealing to furry fans is either sensual, erotic or openly pornographic, furry fandom is now a showcase for artists to exhibe their strambotic fetishes and perversions". I ended saying "the further I am from people fantasizing with getting laid with Alice Otter, the better"
It seems like my message baffled the earlier poster, who informs me about another thread on the "Fanzines" forum where an Argentinian furry is promoting to create a new furry fanzine in Spanish. I went there, read it, and found that one of the supporters of that projects is...... Zorro Re.
My next message is "whoa, no way I'm going to be linked to a character like that, who's got an interest on furry kids, but with an utterly different focus than my stuff". And I put the link I found on this forum to a page of the folk.
I also found that the Argentinian furries are trying to spread the fandom in Argentina, and have created their own page, on ufa.agiros.com.ar . I would show support towards them if they didn't feature characters like Zorro Re.

"Typical fetish stuff, typical fetish stuff, typ... Dear g... Now I see what he means!"
Yeeeah, this is the kinda stuff you would want to keep a nice, big ocean between you and it. Heck, let's make it two. And a couple more fandoms.
I wonder how ManaWolf would defend this. :?

OW GADDAMN MY EYES AGAIN!!!
What the Hell is wrong with you people posting links to things that no person on Earth short of maybe Osama Bin Laden and the people responsible for Trading Spaces being on TLC should be exposed to. The ACLU would get this pegged as a civil rights violation were it shown to unsuspecting death row inmates. |

Ugh, I liked that guys older stuff better (It was clean for one thing). Over time, he just seem to get more perverse. But then again, it does seem to be hard to keep one's hands clean in this fandom. But that newest stuff (Probably inspired by the latest Jackson controversy) just crosses the line. |

I neverheard of him until Crazy Bomber posted a few links to him , so I dont know about any of his older stuff, i know this stuff was here way before Michael Jackson anyway ...well this time ..maybe the 1993 stuff..err maybe not
either way, this Zorro Re guy is also listed over at pregfurs. I saw him on the artist list. i dont think they know about his fucked up artwork, maybe Angel-Paws should see if Binx or whoever is the head guy over there should boot his ass off of there...i also keep forgetting to email abuse@furnation.com asking them to investigate his site for content ...cuz that is some majorly fucked up shit - if thats NOT against thier Terms of Service, then maybe they should re-evaluate thier server rules |

I have to agree with you on that one, Mouse. This is definately worth reporting. It crosses definite service lines, right here, and possiblely even legal ones...? |
