Ok, I need some ideas. And from who better than some of the harshest furry art and website critics on the internet. I want to know what you guys think may make a good, successful clean art site. I've got a MediaWiki script I've been playing around with, but not sure if a wiki is the best way to go to host images, and after seeing all the OMGDRAMA on Wikifur. For instance, allowing the creation of personal websites as opposed to a pre-defined image gallery script that has the same site-wide look, and what's a good procedure for letting in new artists. Should there be a forum, or not, Unix versus Windows, one lump or two, etc. etc. etc.

Or screw it all cause it's not worth my time or effort.

I really thought Poodle Mom was a joke. The style was too juvenile, the concept too profane, the Poodle Mom too...large. But it wasn't. And isn't this the same guy who used to share his furry orgy comics with his real-life mother-in-law?

I think that the real-life poodlemom probably cries herself to sleep nightly with the aid of a bottle of gin. There's no way a real human being can see their daughter and themself represented like that and not weep.

For the purposes of this argument, furries are not considered human.

Despite the number of completely fucked-up fetishes in furry fandom - double-dicked taur herms, unbirthing, Simba-Scar ass-vore etc - Kit'n'Kay Boodle is still one of the most unsettling things furry can offer. It looks vapid but is creepy in a nigh-indescribable, insidious way.

Ok, so from what I can gather here from your responses:

- Tell them to not post anything they would not show their own parents
- No poodle-moms allowed
- Kit 'n Kay Kaboodle is the epiphany of furry pr0n

I assume the best way to accept new artists is to have them go through the standard "3 sample picture" application process. And to refrain from calling it a "furry" art archive as opposed to "anthropomorphic".

You know, I could be approaching this from the wrong angle. Maybe she's a childhood molestation victim. Maybe she was so broken as a kid that now she actually enjoys the thought of having sex online with her son-in-law while in animal form.

All I know is, if that were true and she were my mother, I'd move far, far away and leave no forwarding address.
