I think I've finally figured out where it all went wrong.
Furries are all those unfortunate children who were exposed the "The Star Wars Holiday Special" in their tender years, and it had a permanent, horrific effect on their psyches which lasted in adulthood.

Ironically, the furry view that hyoomans suck is born out by the fact that furries are all human. Well, at least, they seem like it from a suitable distance. I'm not sure what a DNA check would show. Maybe a slightly fucked up gene pool, maybe worse...

Well my view on it was always "I'm always human, so its nice to have a change and play as the raptor in Turok, or Yoshi in Mario, or whatever" I just never chose the human characters in games, hated having to draw humans and never really cared for human characters in cartoons when I was a kid. Don't get me wrong though, psychology fascinates me and I love myself more than anyone.
Most of the furries I know DO have immense self-loathing tendancies though, so maybe its a way for some people to forget about who they really are...But I guess we all knew that really. |
