Sibe was cluster banned, that is to say that FC AC and I think Megaplex share one 'banned' list which they all now go off. So fucking up at one con closes the doors to all of them. He fucked up long ago, but they drug their feet a great deal over whether he was banned from cons or not. He kept bugging Kage around AC time and the guy didn't want to deal with the issue (or rather, was eager to deal with the issue, but not Sibe) and got around to putting him on said ban list.

Now Sibe can't register for the cons, but whose to say he can't be in a public place like a hotel as long as the hotel doesn't have issue with him?

I wouldn't say that. I went to both MFM and AC, and MFM had freaks aplenty. Even the director person wierded me out. The small confines of the aiport hotel it was at (I went in 2002) didn't help the con funk thing any.

I was thinking of maybe going to a con one day, in like five years or something, but my boyfriend HATES furry freaks and says they should burn in hell basically...so perhaps a smaller one would do. I'd have a quieter life if he didn't see people doing weird tuff and being idiots.

The convention hotel. Most conventions have it writen into the contract if there is someone that is a known trouble maker that the hotel will be informed of this person's identity and they should not allow this person onsite. I know Dragon*Con has a pretty long list of people that aren't allowed at the convention sites.

It looks more like a early 50s' Ford truck 'armorized' on a cheap country workshop, loosely based on the US Army's M3 'White' scout car in a (failed) attempt to make it look agressive and military.

Those soldiers are Russian-based, just look at the guns they're carrying. However, it seems like one person in the back is holding a MP40 or Grease gun. Whatever, it's furry art so who gives a crap.

That's a PPSh SMG that was used by the Russian infantry in WW2.

Had a brief look at the artist's VCL archive. His description to the picture reads "Retro furry military sci-fi adventure! Desert scouting in a mid-tek armored truck." I think he's deflected any accusations of bad research quite well with that. :wink:

I don't like that military picture much, but I find some of his art quite charming, actually.
