I ran past this on LJ. A lot of it is common sense, but see if you can name at lest two people who honestly follow most of these. Pobody's nerfect, sure, but some of them are also a little pretentious. Also includes the infamous "DON'T LIKE. DON'T LOOK." logic that has led furries down a road of bestiality, spiritualism and diapers...

Read all about it.

For a moment I imagined Scott Stapp in a coyote fursuit doing Jesus poses on stage with lots of hot rock fan chicks writhing on the floor in front then realized the hot rock fan chicks were actually furry fans at any given con dance floor, Stapp was actually some freak with an SPH on his suit, and I choked and began to barf.

Thanks a lot for leading me on with the expectation of furry horror.

Er... Actually, this declaration here is intellectually worse if not as visceral as a furry version of Creed. And besides that, it's LiveJournal. Sobering thought is that furries would be stepping up in the world if they were actually becoming sightly enough to spread onto MySpace without the rest of the existing pic whore lowlifes insisting on a No Furries entry in the ToS.

X. I acknowledge that just as everyone else is a person, that I am a person, too.

But what if you're not really a human, but a tiger or something?

Keep reaching for that star, saner members.

The opposite of which has led to the Burned Fur Movement. I'll admit that a lot of people within the fandom need a good slap across the face, but I think that this creed is far too speciffic and bureaucratic too be the hand that does that.

There is no winning in either method. The furry fandom is after all a fandom. If you try to take it seriously, you will look silly. If you look from the outside at someone taking it seriously, you will be amused. If you write out something this convoluded (whose many points thereof are already followed by folks with common sense), you only prove that you have too much free time on your hands.

I prefer to follow the middle way. This way I can enjoy the fandom in more ways than one and still retain my sanity.

Ah Stoneth, if the internet has taught us nothing else, than it's when the welfare state communism fails you, it's due to money handlers who need to be extermined in the wake of our master race. Moderation doesn't exist. :D

-some odd furry jokey stuff

Thanks a lot for leading me on with the expectation of furry horror.

-more mostly inane stuff demonstrating a vague speedread of ED on your part

Your welcome. I think...

No, not really. Firstly, I know not who this ED person is. Secondly, I don't speed read. Speed type yes, speed read no, and I can't speed read someone named ED I've never met. Thirdly, I am fond of far flung circles you're unaware of and have dealt with the MySpace cretins before and having in the past dablled in furry know well that my assertion is correct. Whoring on MySpace would be a step up for furries. Dubious, but upward.
