If you watch it in a "Goths go out and kill all the fursuiters" sort of way, it gives you a whole warmfuzzy feeling inside. <g>

Karri? As in Aronen or "karri" as in Karabiner?

I *have* been talking with Icecat about a concept we've been sharing. I hope it pans out.

Aronen, actually. I only know Karabiner/Den in passing - although he does seem to be a good friend of Singshow, so I guess I know him twice removed. ;)

As for the IceCat thing, color me intrigued.

If I AM chatting with Karri, I wish I knew that. Kinda missed hearing from the guy. I think I asked him for a password to his secret art directory a few weeks back, but he never replied.

As for Karabiner, I do miss talking with that guy too, but thanks to a bunch of asshole furries who caused a big fiasco, I don't think Den's talking with me any longer. I still would like to think of him as a friend, but he's chosen his path to walk with the skunkfuckers and stay away from that EEEVIL Hirtes, I'm afraid. Just another reason among the many to loathe furry fans and wish for their horrid, brutal deaths.

As for the thing Icecat & I have been talking about, you'll know it when you see it (*cackles* Ohhhhhhhhhh yeah. You'll know it all right. )

I was wondering if that guy was still around

About a month ago, I was going to E-mail him about his site, but I had figured since the most recent thing on there was like 2001

I figured he was just yet another anthro-artist M.I.A. after being driven out of furry

Ah. Hrrm. He told me you two were chatting, and I must assume he's none to quick at the email - it might have gotten lost. I can't say that I recall the URL to the new pictures in question - I helped him a bit with wording, but the site design was done by someone - I forget his name. His Character name begins with with an X. I'll tell him to get off his ass and drop you a message.

About all I can think of recently is that Remes has dropped off the face of the planet - I guess he's tired of beign associated with the rugfuckers.

I guess that Karabienr might e classified a sellout, but I honestly don't know him well enough to maje judgement - all I know is that he's very shy and seemed to be beside himself when he shared a boot with Singshow at FC01.

Cheers, I'll be waiting on the story!

Na. DOnotsue is rather active, and this new site layout was just completed a few months ago. As far as I can tell, he's still hitting the furry pr0n full force.

He's a CYD lurker. I've tried to talk him into posting, but he's afraid of the intatweb, as such, and doesn't want to figure out how to use phpBB, despite himself. I'm sure he'll eventually pop up. ;)

Ah, yeah. I remember that. Karri, whist a fried, has a bit of a persecution, er, pardon, fursecution complex. He goes around and calls a spade a spade - then goes apeshit when called upon it.

He and Ken Singshow (personified as Stinken, the skunk) were good friends. EWS, as protrayed by the fat pig-thing, went into a bit of a roundabout when Karri "supposively" authored a TDK parody, I think it was as "BASF", with a cartoon entitled "Sabrina 24/7", or soemthing rather similar, which had EWS's magical geeky skunkette and her younger sister masturbating, or soemthing as equally infantile. I guess he felt that Ken turned on him here as well.

I used to feel that way too, until I stopped giving a rat's ass what furries thought about me and decided to just be true to myself. A lot less stressful that way. Believe me.

Jeez! For years I used to think the vast fuckery of furrydom was at least contained within the US/Canadian borders (and parts of Europe) because maybe it was just a quirk in Western civilization, but from what I've been seeing, being a furry makes you a batshit regardless of the country you live in.

That's pretty much what I've figured. I've made, and lost several fruends over the years due to their depths of furry far surpassing any interest I've had. To me it's always been in a bit of fun. Kind of an interactive, anthropomorphic Zork game, if you will (At least as far as the mucks are concerned). It's amazing how the slightest little commect made in a playful, or forbid, snide manner regarding someone having thmselves doleld up a bit too much does nothing to hide their colors... yet, I digress, for I don't really give a shit anymore.

Nay. I don't think any region is safe from the mindfuckery involved within the fandom. The deeper one dives into this pit of waste, the kookier, and the more codependent they seem to become.

The picture had Sabrina in front of a webcam and involved sexually with herself. Sabrina's younger sister had, in the artist's words, stumbled upon the scene by accident; no sexuality was implied with her. Although the artist is probably privately regretting he included her in the drawing.

I remember that pic, and I've also heard a lot about Kari Arronen. Namely, that he's one of those fed-up-with-the-bullshit types. I honestly don't know; he's too far on the inside to be considered stable.

"Sabrina Online 24 Hours" was one of those rare visual internet atrocities with a point. That point was basically to remind people that despite the hype, Schwartz is completely and utterly capable of drawing something that hypocritical and plain nasty, primarily because that's what he already does. I can't tell if it was a concerted effort to piss him off, but that's certainly what it looks like, and that's certainly what it did. If it wasn't intended to piss Schwartz off, then what the fuck was it supposed to do? People like Schwartz don't LIKE being reminded how sad and repulsive they are.

Oh, and about Ken Singshow - he used to be the only furry artist I didn't want to feed into a wood chipper and now well, fuck. His behavior nowadays is either clueless or deeply subversive. I thought Japanese furries as a rule didn't go for that drama bullshit (one of their many saving graces) but I guess there's always exceptions.

Re: Underworld on DVD
They made vampires look cool if disgustingly goth-decadent while they made the werewolves look like disorganized imbeciles. Like elves riding wolves in Elfquest and Tolkein's putting wolves on the side of evil I give it a pass.

Re: Singshow
Don't know him but I do own a t-shirt and a skunkette decal bought from him at AC2k1. The shirt's never been worn but the decal adorns my Aztek as my one and only external sign of having anything to do with furry/anthropomorphics.

Like I said, "Goths go out and kill all the fursuiters". Goths are wannabe vamps, and when you say "disorganized imbeciles", doesn't THAT describe furrydom in two words?

Furry, largely, yes.

But I was referring more to the way they made wolves look bad.

Ah, well, there is a difference between being active in the drama, and being just an object thereof, no?

Last I spoke with him, he was gearing up for FC04 and working his ass off trying to get some prints together for friends at the con. I think he's generally a nice guy, and one of the few I talk to anymore when I actually 'hang out' there.

Nothing wrong with Atkins - they just don't like so much fecal quanity with their food! ;)

Well, I dunno about any of that, but if that car on his site (Knight Rider Cloned TTA) is his - thats a pretty cool ride. As a rule I hate car 'kits', unless its something really wild, like I guess you can turn an 84 or 87 Ford Thunderbird into a 47 Ford, anyway that TTA turned out very professionally and it also wasnt just a bullshit one either, that included the interior (Dashboard and some other stuff).

I dont like your vehicle, and it has nothing to do with the Singshow sticker.

Okay, so I went through some of Donotsue's stuff (mainly the comics section), and well, it's odd. It approaches funny and readable, bizarre in a self-aware way that's somewhat hard to find among the furries. Also note that he drew something besides anthropomorphic animals for some time, giving him some of the experience and perspective that other furry artists deprive themselves of.

Also worthy of note are the DonKat series of comics. I've heard of them, but never thought I'd get to read them; they feel vaguely like some sort of furry equivalent of Sexy Losers.

There's some honestly crazy shit here. It seems vaguely reminescent of MAD Magazine, circa When It Was Funny. Only, of course, more extreme.

Its an 89 TTA then right? (judging by the hood shape)
That is the 3.8L v6 with the supercharger on it ?

Its supposed be somewhere around 250 hp and maybe 300-350 ft-lbs torque, which is nothing to scoff at

I think the more recent GM vehicles (Impala SS, Pontiac Grand Prix GTP) same sort of set up and same sort of results , except those are front drivers

They are nice cars, i have a friend with a 98 GTP

A lot of people said that when it came out, but half the SUVs today look like them and people who scorned it drive the Vibe and it's a pocket Aztek. Some others who hate it bought one and had problems. Mine blew the steering column three days before 9/11/1 and went in the shop on the 10th. Still wouldn't trade it for anything else.

I do. Vampires are bloodsucking creeps who take your life away entirely or turn it into a half-life of undeath much like the furry fandom has been known to do. Wolves are the predecessors to the wild dogs that learned to stick by bands of humans and became domesticated to this day and only kill you if you mess with them or give them a reason, like hunger. Sort of like the vagaries of real life outside furry where it might kill and eat you or might be a good companion depending on how you handle it.

Lighten up, Comp.
