Hallelujah!

It looks like Blessed Mother Mary and Baby Jesus have superimposed themselves onto the drawing of that anthropomorphic buck masturbating!
Once again my faith in The Lord is verified and I know he shall protect me from all obscenities.

Seriously, what *is* that thing?

You also might want to credit the drawing to Tim O'Rourke before you are barraged by LAWSUITES. Not that I would know who drew it, of course.

I think it was a shoddy method of censoring the pic for the sake of sensitive readers who might be shocked by the sight of a wang. Wangs are frowned upon in British publications, you see, even naughty ones, despite boobies and nipples being freely viewable in a certain popular tabloid newspaper.

You're the first to mention it. And please - Lawsuites? If anyone was going to hit me with one, I doubt it'd be over a miniscule issue like that. If TOR wants it credited, he can drop me an email.

You mean the same sensitive readership who is going to be unaffected by men "sharing dogs" but magically offended by cartoon depictions of phalluses of power? Not to mention the censorship job was incredibly suggestive in itself, and they mysteriously left the spooge on his upper chest and neck. Chalk one up for sensationalist journalism, I suppose.

After the entire Sibe debacle, it's probably unwise to predict what furries are going to do regarding copyrights and ownership. It's very unlikely that they would go after something as small as that, but I thought I might as well mention it.

Making it more unlikely is the fact that TOR has been incommunicado for quite some time, at least as far as I know. At least ever since his liaison, Actaeon, had his internet access temporarily cut off.

I have had never had much use for the self imposed moralist and their ilk.no excuse really for censorship, age appropriate stuff ,yes, but when those kids turn 18,please let them see an honest tit!the "bubble-over" on the genitailia is so damned lame!Either show the sodding thing OR DON'T!or as we used to say in the states "SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT!" any way,..there nothing wrong with being responsible, just don't be an annoying prigg or pratt about it! :D Fight the good fight (Jerry Collins)

The censorship thing is more of a joke in and of itself, rather than any real attempt to prevent people taking offence - kinda like how the "work-safe" version of the PoE Tract by Jockojones is somehow made funnier by covering the goatse man's ringpiece with random non-sequiter images.

On the other hand, it's quite likely that the only reason they did it was due to legality issues.

Ermm....the whole block out certain images is not because we the "prude" brittish public (in a general sence) would be immensly offended, but because there are those few devout christians that, while mildly grumbling at the showing of provocative material, would throw a fit causing much agro to any-one who would listen (that includes the BBC news team) and the publishers/readers/public would have to endure weeks of nagging from ppl who dont realise it falls on deaf ears.
