Evolutionary convergence!

That is the terrible irony.

You see, Humans are the perfect shape for being what we are (i.e. Humans)
So, if you did end up with a non-primate (like oh… a fox (vulpes vulpes)) evolving into something like a human, it would pretty much look the same as a human in the end.

For example, as both cats and foxes use a pounce to catch small fast rodents, so would any non-human animal, which evolved into something humanlike, become er just, like a human in looks and mentality, since we humans are the best at being what we are.

Also, When I look at that image you drew, The way the one on the left is standing doesn't quite look right, Likes he's going to topple over and his left arm also looks a bit stiff.

Since he’s supposed to be relaxed I’d say that he should perhaps be with one foot at about 90 degrees to the other and he'd probably be putting most of the weight on the right leg.

thanks for the critique, i can spot thousands of faults in the whole thing and i definately agree with you about the stiff arm, and the feet really bother me! I doodled it during a lecture and although it looks pretty poor, I thought it was worth uploading for VCl anyways just because of the idea of it needed to be shared
and I never draw the same thing twice

I have to admit, I did see the 'yiff' pun in someone's sig on a message board somewhere. i can't taje full credit for that!

Must've been at mff, someone kept saying "what if furrys had a human con" or something of that nature. Its retarded on either side. Well, what if superheros had a civilians con? or vampires had a mortals con? or whatever.

Sorry, its just moronic. Its like the groups at the con's who are convinced that if they believe and hope long enough, all of humanity will turn into their chosen "sprit animal" or some other bullshit.

If anything we'll all de-evolve and turn back into monkies.

although ive never heard of it outside of the internet, I'm sure its all just a laugh just like any other fancy dress party.

apart from a small minority of individuals that do it for other reasons of course.

dont take it so seriously!

Humans are descended from a common ape like ancestor. Not actually descended from monkeys and apes themselves.

HTH.
