I feel thoroughly retarded for asking this, but what sort of pr0n did Dave Kelly ever draw? I don't I recall ever seeing any (and when I *was* doing Furplay back in the day, I would have known about it.)?

I can understand the whole 'one of us' mentality which seems to be the lifeblood of the fandom. I've been slowly drawing away from it over the last few years, and, as of late, for my own insensitive reasons, have decided to essentially drop all but a few close friends I've made through this medium.

Still, not a day goes by that I'm not called a furry by either side. At least I can be proud that none of my toys have holes in them. ;)

Seeing as how even the most prominent of furry cartoonist-porn-stars still have day jobs or are living off "disability", I HIGHLY doubt it.

Why is it that JAY-ZUSS is always anti-pr0n, but murder and military mayhem is perfectly A-OK with him?

Seeing as how even the most prominent of furry cartoonist-porn-stars still have day jobs or are living off "disability", I HIGHLY doubt it.

You'd be surprised. I made money not just by doing the porn, but I had many other jobs too. I work freelance and I get paid a lot for what I do (a repeat customer is The Gabriel Institute. Very generous.) It's enough to feed me and pay my rent. The reason furry cartoonist porn stars are usually poor should be obvious (THEIR HABITS.)
I have nothing holding me down. I draw extremely fast. I can make animated shorts in less than two days and make them look better than the shit that's on TV.

I know it's hard to believe that I can actually MAKE A LIVING doing my stupid little drawings, but I just work 10 times harder than anybody else. I am a workaholic. I do not reccomend this lifestyle to anyone because there are some months where the money is really low, but you're still busting your ass. I like living this humble life. I do not need riches, a car, or any of those extravagant things. Hell, most of the extra money I have goes to buying more art supplies.

I love to draw.

The work ethic of any artist or writer who wants to make it their bread and butter. My hat is off to anyone who can make it. When I read up on the trials and tribulations of some of today's best writers, I realized I couldn't afford to get married and have kids until I hit forty and was already a crochety old curmudgeon and alcoholic. Instead I write for my own amusement and got married before thirty and became a crochety old curmudgeon alcoholic that way.

I have a tendency to stick mainly to artists and writers whom I have developed a special liking for either through personal friendship or through what they express in their craft. Yes, I enjoy their erotica and write a bit of my own.

I've never really liked the smut all that much. If I wanted smut, I'd go to http://smut.keenspace.com
