I regularly check the site of Kelly Hamilton, a promising young artist with a talent for really cute funny animal characters, among other things. She also makes a neat webcomic, Good Cheese, where she's recently posted this message:
This weekend I'll be selling prints and sketches at Furry Weekend Atlanta. It's my first time being at a furry con, I'm hoping it'll be fun and not too scarey ^_^;;

OY! Danger ahead! I really hope that nobody manages to convince her to start drawing hermaphrodite skunk-taur tentacle rape-a-thon pics! Too many talents have been seduced to take that furry trail already. Just think what good stuff one certain Schwarz may have been doing, if he hadn't freaked out with all that TDK and ZigZag crapola.
Here's hoping that miss Hamilton will make it back home with her artistic sensibilities intact... |

I came across good cheese a while ago, I actually always kind of figured she was a furry. Either way I stopped reading Good Cheese cuz I found it a little bit too soap opera-ish for my taste. But the art is really good from what I remember. I dont think she would freak out and stop drawing anthros because of anythign that could happen at the con. She even says that she hopes its not scarey...so she's probably heard something about it already.
Actually, she may be a furry fan and just never went to a convention, who knows. |

| I'm hoping that FWA will keep a close eye on the porn and at least keep it out of the public viewing. Also hope this artist is going with friends that they know and trust because that does help a lot. |

Not bad. I've seen better, but she's pretty good.
I'm sure she's well aware of the furvs, by the way. I'm also sure that she doesn't really give a hoot. She doesn't seem like the type who would. I hope she has a good time at FWA. |
