"anything goes" is the title of the auction.

Now, look at the example pic and then look at the $100 MINIMUM bid price and you tell me if this person is being at least a little bit delusional about themself.

"this is no ordanay comsh"

omg i think they probably think theyre alot better at writing than they actually are too. they'll have to learn the hard way about theyre art i guess.

ive never been to Furbid of my own accord. ive only been linked to it, but of all the pics ive seen, why do hardly any of them have backgrounds?

Simply because 99% of fandom artists can't or won't draw them.

With all the focus simply on the characters, unclothed or not, why bother with an imaginative background? It's too much work to do, and the only reason anyone will buy it is because it's got FURRY in it, even if it's utter crap. So why bother?

In agreeance here. More artistic value at work within the fandom. :roll:

Edit: why have i not checked out your art before today? That cartoony/classic/epic look is fuckin' awesome. 8)

Edit2: \/\/\/\/\/ errr, nope. I was talking about Sulaco's... I think.

i hope you're talking about my vcl because im gonna say thanks for the compliment anyways!

God, I think I must be very naive about the whole furry fandom to be honest, and this forum's opened my eyes to it. While I believe that people should draw whatever they want, fetish or not, and not be ridiculed by it, i can see now that there are some people that are wasting their lives on the net out there and its a downward spiral.
I've noticed that alot of people just seem to go into furry porn simply because 'its the done thing'.
I simply don't draw anything erotic because I don't think my style is right for it and if its going to be good in any way you have to have alot of talent to pull it off. But most people seem to ignore simple common sense and believe that the erotic content makes it good in itself.

When it comes to smut, people expectations drop like a rock, so when they see something like this, the phrase "Well, it's better than I thought." is not really something to be proud of.

That's the appeal, "art" like this really is "Better than we thought." :}

My big book of sanctimonious thinking says:

“Because being an artist is a never-ending journey of discovery and the day when you think that you’ve arrived and don’t need to try or experiment anymore or put any more effort in is the day you stop being an artist”

OH CALUMNY!!!

Let's just say this person's drawing skills matches his/her ability to spell: "this is a anythong goes comish it ca be g to xxx. this is no ordanay comsh it is for a oil painiting the canvas size is 16X20.what is required is a detailed destription of what you want colors ect be as detailed as possble".
