...At any rate, Lizard uses not only the conventions of furrydom, but mixes them with humans as well. However, Lizard interprets furry conventions like Gene Catlow, Saga of The Ram, and even X-Men (as well as Greytown itself) by depicting the varied anthropomorphic species as ethnic backgrounds with their own histories and prejudices....

Thought I'd share. :)

That's nice, and it was put the nicest way possible. I refuse to use the word "furry" since people have been doing the same thing I've done for years without using that word either. Still, the reviewer was really nice about it and didn't go into too much detail about the "furryness."

Here's a really old interview about Lizard:

Some of my opinions have changed though, but it's still relevant.

So you know about Comixpedia? Cool! I'm now an illustrator for them. My first picture's gonna appear this Monday. :)

Yeah, I dont think its that big of deal

I think there is going to start to be these sort of clashes as time goes on though.

Furry fandom is big enough , and everybody has thier own definition of it. At least in part , as a genre or meta genre, whatever you wanna call it ..it does fill a void that didnt exist before , or is a little more specific.

Some groups, especially those up to date on comics, particularly webcomics use the word "furry"

I guess at some point a difinition is going to be hammered down on furry fandom on exactly what that word means when it is used. Especially since in cases like this, the word is being used by a broader audience
