If it is a troll, it's a very good idea for one. But that would only mean it would be copied ten zillion times and run into the ground pretty quick so just watch to see if similarly inane petitions happen.

Not really, only in this sense:

One day it occured to me , while reading that strip where furry gets mentioned , it was a SomethignPositive strip, the one with the pink cat character. He was reading letters the author received - Basically relaying a story about some fucked up letter from a furry

...the thign is though..that while there are definatly furries fucked up enough out there to write a goofy letter like that...at the same - *ANYONE* can fire off a goofy letter to any webcomic artist with cartoon animals in thier strip making some weird request. The result would most likely be some form of funny ass DRAMA that crops up in the strip somewhere. Hence, both possibilities are VERY probable - so probable that I have no fuckign clue whats real and whats not anymore when its comes to furry fandom. Unless the trolls just suck at it and its obvious. Somewhere in all those signatures someone says that the petition was started by non furries...fuck if i can remember where though.

I have, just in general, become very distrustful of all information sources (not just stuff with furry fandom)
