Eh, I dunno Rankin,
(thats from CSI correct?)
Thats some totally shit photography if thats the case. I mean its one of those perspective shots..which is fine, but you can totally see thats its a perspective shot and the guy is just on a harness. He looks like he's a mile away from the car. The lights on his costume are way off from what the light coming from the cars headlights should be. Its just not even close.
This was either someone completely unskilled, or this was severely rushed. With it being a weekly show or whatever they probably just slapped that scene together like that. |

Ya know, it's one thing to look a pixelated GIF of a TV capture and giggle - and yet another to assess it to death.
Sweety, if you go through this same process when you see furry pictures, I think it's time for Lithium. Don't look a gift jab* in the mouth.
* Goddammit, right after I typed 'jab', I had this evil flashback to that artist who did the cartoon porn, and the first thought was Judy Jetson. Oooh, the pain. |

If I was going to assess it I would have assessed incorect lens usage and possibly the camera or the film they had used to do this shot...but I dont know enough about any of that to make any kind of assessment. The only assessment I made was the (IMO) incorrect lighting, rather than just leaving the scene as dark as it should be and using different angles. What I did was all observation.
Besides, 'being a buzzkill', 'raining on the parade'...its my hobby. :)
Edit: I was once hit by a car in a near identical fashion to the way this shot looks (and not intended) , so I know for a fact that the movement is all wrong too. :D |
