Why do I get a feeling that the word "pack" is also a verb in this circumstance? |

Actually, it's his miltant reluctance to bang on a woman that is making this such a Comedy Goldmine.
Vaginas. Anuses. I think the filthiest orafice of all is this retard's own mouth.
And who knows? Maybe this is the real TigerWolf. It's not the first time I've seen someone do something significant in a fandom and then decay into a jibbering mass of stupidity. |

I highly doubt it. TigerWolf doesn't type, or write like a 15 year old... and I think he has a wife, so that would preclude this little bit of sexual frustration on livejournal that wasted a few minutes of my time.
So lonely. |

Good point. There are two guys named "Nekobe", you know. One had one of his fuckfests clandestingly recorded, and the other one's a yowling batshit from Belgium. The world could do without either one of them, apparently. |

Naa. This is like a 17 year old butt pirate who was gang raped by his mother, aunt, and sisters... amazingly all the same person. |

Yet another one of those supposedly more-enlightened-than-straights gay guys...
In the general population, that sort of anger bordering on mindless hate towards guys who do women as well as guys is fairly common. Bisexuals get more mistreatment and abuse from gays than straights, especially bisexual men. Straights on the other hand tend to be a whole lot friendlier. And while you might think this the compliment to the man-hating lesbian, the man-hating lesbian routine is rarely this pronounced. I've seen this hatred of all females among gays far more often.
But, in furry, it's a MILLION TIMES MORE COMMON. I've run into dozens and dozens of pricks like this who are almost Nazi-like in their gayness as if solely doing guys makes them the master preference.
I feel sad for this prick. Very very sad. But I won't let that bother me longer than it takes to press the Submit button and go off to work. |

Yeah, I've had to deal with this more then a couple times as well. There are just a couple militant fags (you know it's bad with a flamer calls you a faggot and these boys have been called faggots by people that make Silfur look like a damned a conservative Christian homo) that just hate women. It's almost my goal in life to piss them off because I'm straight.
I can't feel sorry for him. One of his jail house queer fuck buddies get a woman to even look his way and does go with him and he is all pissed? BFD. |

What, I really want to know, would drive someone to pick such a title. "I want the yin and yang. Two elements that shall never mix! Let's see... what's outside? Oooh, a dog... and the neighbor's cat! Boy, they're yiffy! Wait! That's it! CatDog... No... DogCat. Dammit, I used to jerk off to that. That can't be it. What's a kitty? Uhm... Tiger. Yeah. They're all stripey and ooh I'm getting my fat rolls all sweaty just thinking about it. Dog. Dog... hyena? No... that's too androgynous. I mean, it could ALMOST be considered kind of a girl. ICK! Wolf. Wolf! That's it! Wolf! A ti... TIGER WOLF!" |

The only explination for that name is a lack of originality. TigerWolf has got to be one of the least original furry names ever, second to FoxFire, Foxx, FireFox, etc. |

Some pretty funny shit there, man. Sadly, he is probably some jackass' role model now.
God help him and us all if he gets any kind of following. |

Well, you have both a tiger, and a wolf.... two of the "lords" of the animal kingdom, and two of the most common furry avatars. No offense to wolf and tiger lovers present, but many furries abuse these two animals as personal reflections. I mean, there are those for whom these animals represent them quite well. My wife is one that is aptly characterized by a tiger, but moreso by her favored avatar.. a zebra. (Her other primary one being a gila monster.) But, a lot of furries... and you know the kind... use wolves, tigers, lions, foxes, etc. to represent the "real" them, which is more the "them" they wish they could be, rather than who they really are.
After all, why worry about being morbidly obese and living in your parents' basement when you know the "real" you is a sinewy loner stalking the urban jungle with any person of his choosing on the subway potential fodder for his animalistic whims?
That's one reason I grappled for years with what animal to use when portraying myself in drawings. A book called "The Animal in You" used a personality test to match you to an animal. My result was fox. Aside from the obvious distaste furrydom breeds for foxes in anyone with half a brain.... the little critters being the dumb blondes of the morphic world... I just didn't figure a guy that looks like Michael Chiklis from The Shield was fox material. My wife, when asked, thought a European lynx suited me. Again.... just didn't think I fit the image of something that sleek and attractive. My brother said a hyena..... not bad, and I'm always drawn to watching them at the zoo. I could study them for hours. But.. I dunno... just didn't quite feel right, either.
I eventually came around to the boar, based on my Chinese zodiac. It has some of my strengths, but also embodies my negative aspects, too. The other option was an Galapagos marine iguana, as I sometimes feel like I'm the only ectothermic person on Earth. Not to mention I'm hairless and butt-ugly. Being Floridian, my wife suggested a 'gator. :D Wolverines proved a little too difficult to really define the markings and reflect my features.... and badgers are second only to bears and maybe coons as favored furries for big, fat, greasy gay guys. (You're not a kodiak you smegma-sniffing lardball, you're in need of a treadmill!!)
That's one thing I think furries neglect when pursuing the idea of an avatar.. something that really suits the total person.... not just some idyllic vision of themselves.... 1,000,000 hit points and 100+ charisma.
So, anyway... TigerWolf.. the best of all furry flights of fantasy. I guess we should we think ourselves lucky he's not a TigerLupineFoxxiPegaTauriCorn |

The idea that a certain animal is “more like us” or is "better to represent us" than another animal is entirely erroneous, unless judged on strict biological lines.
We are all humans with human mind & body.
This means that we cannot relate to any other animal except in human terms and the only way in which we are like them is in the aspects of sharing DNA & evolution & taxonomy et al.
If we were to take that line, the non-human animal which best represent us are chimpanzees, being our nearest living relatives.
The choice of what animal people choose to represent them is based entirely on personal choice and preference and what attributes we ascribe to non-human animals.
No one non-human animal better represents a human than any other animal.
This means that anyone can choose any animal to represent themselves with and there is no basis for declaring that this is unsuitable or that they would be better represented by another, except in arbitrary terms.
There is no one animal which better "suits the total person" than any other animal.
Except of course, unless you are judging on arbitrary lines. For example you mention the "Chinese Zodiac", there is an entirely arbitrary human creation, which can be used to make arbitrary judgments about what sort of animal "suits the total person". |

Geez, with an atitude towards women like his, he could turn into a modern day "Jack the Ripper" if left unchecked.
I can imagine what a "Pack" of Bubbas and Tiny's can do onto him in prison! They are going to ramrod him so hard, he will "straighten" out and gain a renewed appreciation for women.
Well, there is SOME good news to his devient behavior. At least you know he won't have children to pollute the genepool with. |

The idea that a certain animal is “more like us” or is "better to represent us" than another animal is entirely erroneous, unless judged on strict biological lines.
Not really. Most animals are characterized with certain traits, which are often brought to bear on on people... or, conversely, a lot of people have traits which remind other people of animal behaviors (though not always fairly attributed to that animal): sly as a fox, quiet as a mouse, a "mousey" appearance, "squirrely" behavior, loan shark, lawyers compared to rats, weasles, and snakes, strong as an ox, bull-headed, etc.
Natrually, you can't compare based on biology alone, but from the standpoint of comparsions made between people in animals in many cultures on the basis of build, appearance, behavior, occupation, etc... these "animal archetypes" are all over the place. So, say what you will, I still think there's something inherently flawed with the idea of a 400-pound, bald guy in coke-bottle glasses depicting himself as a buffed-out lion with a waistline that measures less than his biceps, and declaring that his "true" self. A 400-pound, maneless lion, on the other hand, I could find more believable.
Of course, this all depends on how you go about using morphs to represent people. If you just draw whatever strikes your fancy, then it is liable to be a more arbitrary decision. I use morphs as a form of caricature... so I look for physical and personality traits that make me think of a certain animal.... like a deer-like grace, someone tall and skinny like a giraffe, a shaggy lion-like head of hair, ratlike eyes and sharp features, etc. Take Schmorky's pic of Jim Groat. The similarity between "Groat" and "goat" is what probably led him to use that animal. As such, it's a play on his name, and a caricature of sorts... maybe more of a visual pun. Obviously, however, he doesn't draw his character to really reflect himself.. so we start getting into that idealistic territory. But, what can you expect from a guy that makes a strip starring himself as a smart-assed sage among aardvarks who always gets the last word?
I see what you're getting at, but, I guess it really does depend on personal outlook and how you elect to use animals to represent people. If you just pick species based on what strikes your fancy or what you favor, then it could definitely be considered arbitrary. If you use morphs as a form of caricature, though, it's far from arbitrary or erroneous to say someone like Eric Schwartz ain't cheetah material. |
