One pic (the most obvious dig) was of someone in a fursuit doing a dog from the backside. It was done as a joke. It looks like the thin-skins didn't like the joke and filled the complaint box at Deviant Art.
In any case, Sirkowski is ticked.
I wouldn't be surprised if in some new pic Sirkowski goes off. I know where his usual website is, I'll post it if he retorts.

There's one comment there that I found intriguing (emphases are mine):
Sirkowski, more than likely, some of the Radical furs decided to sweep through DA. They're a bunch of zealots that try to give Furries a good image by crushing free speech and censoring anything even remotely critical of furries.
There have been recent incidents on how the Furry community has been showing a more paranoid edge. Especially since the CSI episode smacked their fandom with a glaring light they didn't want.
I'll point you to a site where there are still people who are sane, and laugh at the Furries as they self-destruct in their paranoid schizophrenia.
DA can only act on complaints. Even if the charges were trumped up, and their e-mail boxes were spammed.
Furries can't take criticism, and will howl at the moon untill they're satisfied.
I personally didn't think the CSI episode was all that harsh.. while it highlighted the kinds of people that make up a small portion of the fandom, it's not like it had dog dildos hanging off of hotel doors.
If the furries were afraid of the press CSI gave them, that's gotta tell you something about how scared they are of the more serious stuff coming to light.

And what I meant by Radical Furs are the darned ones that can't stand any criticism to their "fandom". (Addendum: Oops, that is what you emphasised... sorry.)
Sirkowski made a few pot-shots, and they lingered on his page FOR A YEAR, before anyone howled.
And yes, I pimped CYD.
Why? You guys sound like you're reasonible fellows who tell it like it is.

For some reason, furry hate art is never as funny as making fun of furries with text. Probably because 90% of the people who draw it draw a little revenge-fantasy self-insertion of themselves standing over the bloody, intestines-on-the-outside corpse of a furry for some reason; and garbage revenge art like that is one of the things I hate the most when it comes to furry art.
I personally didn't think the CSI episode was all that harsh.. while it highlighted the kinds of people that make up a small portion of the fandom, it's not like it had dog dildos hanging off of hotel doors.

Actually I thought it was funny, but it's basically forgettable.
It cmae it went, and some furries still act like it's a big deal, It'll be forgotton in the real world for the most part, as the world oudside moves on to bigger things.

I don't know. Perhaps Sirkowski was probably making fun of revenge art? Or perhaps making fun of pretty much everything like he always does?
Although you do have a point that it's sorta graphic... But then again, Eva and Blackie from Miss Dynamite have never been subtle.
It's in character for Eva (the blonde with the shotgun) to well... shoot first.
(Addendum: On a side note, the "Furry Coat" picture was there since Sirkowski opened his account at DA practically. It was before all this "fursecution" bs.)

What surprises me is that people would WANT to take aim at Sirkowski. Why would anyone want to attack someone who's drawn quite a bit of "fanservice" for people? His "Miss Dynamite" cartoons are pretty popular on Newgrounds...
As for revenge art, as a general rule I don't do that sort of thing. (Yes, I draw - if you want to brace yourself for some sheer horrors, you'll find some of my stuff at http://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/GlenSkunk - feel free to laugh or puke all you wish, just bear in mind that there are people who draw much, much worse than I do, both in content and in quality!) I prefer to draw silly stuff and let the whole "OMG you shit on me NOW YOU DIE BIYATCH" stuff go away on its own. I don't hold grudges unless they really, REALLY did something to deserve it, like murder a family member.
I'd advocate that everyone just calm down and let the issue die already! None of us need these flame wars and petty insults! Don't you have BETTER things to do than to insult each other? C'mon!

Yes, I certainly agree that some of the work there is quite atrocious. A lot of it is pretty strange, and some of it is just plain wrong. *snicker* That sounds kind of strange coming from the guy who drew it, but hell, I can make fun of myself anyway!
I should note that a lot of this stuff is actually fairly old. I've improved a fair bit over what you've seen in these little jokes. That's probably a good thing, since I'd rather not become the next "Archangel-of-Death." (If you haven't heard of him, I envy you oh-so-very-much.) And I've CERTAINLY drawn some downright wrong things that, for the sake of the viewing public, I've simply not uploaded to the archive and only show privately. I may also start removing a few things from the archive too, so that the collective quality doesn't become bogged down.
Feel free to tell your friends about these very sick little pictures tho. We all could use the laughs, couldn't we?
Some of my friends and I used to indulge in "comical critiques." It was meant constructively, but no punches were pulled for the sake of a laugh. My worst one was when I was still working on drawing morphs, and was having problems with muzzle perspective.

*snicker* Well, glad to see you explained it here. Some of my less...humorous friends might see this in a bad light. I knew right from the outset that you were only being silly tho - I mean, c'mon, hemmerhoids? Anything like that used in art you just KNOW is silly! :D
I was actually thinking of drawing something on the "Spoogebrain Stripedpants" joke Rankin came up with. How 'bout it?
Also, as a note to M0us3_Zero - apologies for the degeneration. If it'd make you feel better, I could always draw something for you. Just ask for something - doesn't have to be furry, it could be just about anything. (I try to be versatile in artwork, see...)

Second one, not too bad. Almost everyhting was in proportion. Of course, if you ignote the fact that the leg WAS improperly positioned and... well... the... erm... chest was... erm...
Okay, what can I say, if you poke fun at your earlier stuff, you're cool in my book.
I'll toss you an idea. It's anthro, but not what's typical "phurraie" tripe. I just gotta think of the description because I might use the face for an avatar here.
Note: Your style improved over a year, I must say. But... again... there's a reason why you put the stuff in censored. >.<
EDIT: And I can't spell worth a crap when tired and un-caffinated. I need sleep... I'll keep the typos up for derision. (Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment...)
