Greets! I'm new to the forums here, havn't even lurked much, so please forgive if I've posted in the wrong place etc. etc. Anyways:
Take a valium before you view THIS link, its just explicit. And not one of those pussy white valium either, take a blue one.
"New Swatch Ad Features Rabbits In Sexual Positions.
Billboard Kicks Off New 'Bunnysutra' Swatch Watch Line"
http://www.local6.com/news/3289411/detail.html
(hrm, hope this link doesn't decay. Look at the sidebar slideshow for pics.)
Yes, it is indeed outragious. It's an outrage because it is an issue at all. What is happening here?

I dont seem to recall people geting outraged at those "pigs fucking all over the place" t-shirts they used to sell at places like Spencers. Or the one with skeletons.
I can hardly see this as being offensive or even indecent...but then again, due to furry fandom exposure my "indecency meter" is way off.
I dont think this sort of billboard would even register with me until these rabbits were ultra realistic hermaphrodite chimeras crapping on each other or something |

Yes, well thats pretty much my point. The article mentioned that people were 'outraged'. I don't know how they are expressing this, but I do believe it. "I don't want little jimmy seeing that.. that.. BIZZARE SMUT up on a billboard when I drive him to the movies blah blah" is what I imagine.
BTW I got the link for that story off the DRUDGE REPORT which get millions of hits every day. Most readers there are conservative and I do believe some would have a reaction.. just my opinion..
It's not a ping on MY echosounder either.

This is "kyoot" to the kids who hand out at Spencer Gifts and ogle the bikini babe posters because they prefer to get a boner in public rather than one in private over free Internet porn, probably because their sister is hogging the PC to browse lesbian sites.
I find it in poor taste, but if the world were anymore jaded, we'd all be seeing in shades of green. |

Yes, this is but a blip, but when the media gets on this...
WHOO BOY!
You'd think it was the second coming of Watergate!
I bet you even odds there'll be congressional hearings on this in a month or two. |
