Needs more Ralph Hayes. I figure Naylor and Hayes can go on their 'fag killing spree', then reture to watch football whist pontificating the joy of religion in politics as they go down on each other. |

Breit allegedly told investigators that he was stockpiling weapons in case there was a revolution and he needed to use them against liberals.
Damn those liberals... So democratic, so willing to look after human rights, so willing to hear the other side of the story on any kind of problem... they're UN-AMERICANS AND DESERVE DEATH!
Police say they found an essay Breit wrote, "Revolutionary Strike Force," which outlined a plan to kill 1,500 people at a Democratic presidential caucus.
Now... that's a weird way to force a win on elections... by killing the opponents!?
I honestly don't know if this folk was going to take his weird ideas to practice, but the mere fact that there are people thinking like this on a country as powerful as the US scares the hell out of me. |

Y'know, that remark makes you no better than the ones who bash Liberals, considering that insinuates conservatives DON'T look after human rights, listen to the other side of the story, etc. etc.
But this guy's just nutty. The kinda guy make even Naylor or Limbaugh turn around, whistle, and declare the ol' "I don't know him". He's a one-man, right-wing ELF. WHY he was released is beyond me. He's an obvious threat ("I'll see you tomorrow, buddy"). Meh, Judges are gettin' nutty these days. |

The biggest case of WTF-itis is that this freak seems to actually think that the moment Kerry is sworn in, his house is gonna be surrounded by a mob of hippies chanting "We shall O-verCoOOoOoOoOoOme!", bust down his door, and force him down to his knees & smoke a blunt while spitting on a photo of Ronald Reagan between tokes.
Anyone remember the scene from "The Young Ones" where there were a dozen Neils breaking into the house and Rik was freaking out? I'll bet that's the kind of nightmares that this goosestepping assclown is having. <g> |

Everybody sing the amendment song! =)
"There's a lotta flag-burners who have got too much freedom
I wanna make it legal for policemen to beat em,
Cuz there's limits to our liberties... Least I hope and pray that there are...
Cuz those liberal freaks go-oh too far!" |

More than you hate me
The government stole my goldfish
And unplugged my TV! |

Furrydom is also full of leftist shit-for-brains types(99.5% of the fandom by my count) as well so can we can this before it turns into a political thing or has CYD officially adopted a leftist tone? I'm already sick to death of leftist militancy in furry and there's no need to see this place dragged closer to furry by aligning with it politically.
Myself, I'm sick to fucking death of the Democrats and wish them a speedy trip to blazes. Maybe that's because I do my own taxes, file my own state and federal paperwork, and know the exact cost to me and my family down to the smallest penny thanks to government run amok. Or maybe it's growing up on welfare in a housing project and seeing liberalism first hand. Whatever, but if it's unacceptable for the right, then it should be for the left. |

Okay, you far-rights and you far-lefts are the reason I'm giving away all my stuff and running away into the wilderness of the Oxbow to become a grizzled hermit wildman.
Leftists, I'm sick of your elitism and your constant self-back-patting because you think you're SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO caring and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO compassionate about other people and your tendency to screw other people over so you can benefit some OTHER group of people. Fuck you and your slimy idealistic asses.
Rightists, stop being so mean. God, do you have to be so mean? You're, like, the meanest people around. Stop thumping your bibles and yelling GOD HATES FAGS and stuff a dick in your mouth, HEY YOU MIGHT LIKE ITi certainly do (j/k lol)
Fuck this "World Society" thing, all I want now is to become completely isolated from other people and do my own shit, and make my own shit, and shit my own shit. Fuck. |

Remember what you once said about us two being able to have our differences yet still manage to get along together? I started to feel a strain on that peace there for a moment.
But, I'm cool with the idea that you have your opinion and I have mine. Must be that liberal in me that allows that much slack. ;)
But, I'm sure that the SANE person you are has to take a bit of offense at the idea of some guy wanting to go out and murder liberals just because they're liberals.
After all, The Liberal Agenda entails rounding up all conservatives starting in January 2005 and forcing them to make Grateful Dead apparel and Michael Moore statues in the camp-run sweatshops, but we'd at least allow them to live, right? |

These are the forums, not the site proper, and they take their tone from the posters.
And in any case, the poking of fun at gun-toting, bible-punching, politically naive armchair hawks hardly means we're on the slippery slope to rampant socialism and unbridled yiffery. You don't have to be some kind of crazy Marxist to get a kick out of mocking fruitcakes.
And anyhow, you know my views on the whole left/right mess. |

It's not worth taking the time to raise a fuss about unless you want to read all the screed from the liberals in furry who openly talk violent shit towards conservatives whenever they get Superman Syndrome.
Liberals can talk violence towards conservatives but not the other way around? I hear liberals openly wishing the President would be shot every damn day in my state. There was a time mentioning the two concepts in one sentence openly would result in a visit from the FBI, Secret Service, and police just to make sure it was only hypothetical talk. Now it's considered sacrosanct free speech.
I also hear talk about how we should be allying ourselves with Muslim terrorists instead of fighting them and killing police.
It's like the frigging sixties again.
So again, if you're not going to go over all the leftist nutcasery, then don't go over all that on the right. Otherwise, it's nothing to do with laughing at furry freakery, it's all about your personal politics. And that's not why I signed onto CYD and it's probably not why anyone else did either.
Or should be just get David back here and let the whole place go solidly socialist and be forced to start a conservative CYD and do the same kind of schismatic split for no good freaking reason that we see in alt.fan.furry constantly?
The politics should simply be left out. Period. |

And my two cents on the original link: YAWN...
I work in cities where there are LESS sane people than that MORE heavily armed than that. Half of them are police and the other half are residents. They cover BOTH sides of the political spectrum, though are overwhelmingly leftist in outlook, most unhappy that there isn't some sort of cradle-to-grave welfare system that pays $1500/week and they're sure that the take from taxes is really ten times what the government says it is and it's all going to Bush, Cheney, and their friends at Halliburton.
Meanwhile, people like me who make $1500/week by WORKING just shake our heads, have them sign the contract for their digital cable service which we just hooked up to their FOUR projection screeen televisions, TWO of them High Definition, and get out of their WELFARE HOUSING PROJECT APARTMENT as quickly as possible. (We have the richest "poor" people on the damn planet lately.) |

Conservative extremeists tend to act on it. eg incidents like the Greensboro massacre.
I don't recall even one inceident of extreme left wingers shooting up a right wing gathering of some kind.
I also hear talk about how we should be allying ourselves with Muslim terrorists instead of fighting them and killing police.
It's like the frigging sixties again.
<...>
Sounds like you are getting of close to entering Ann Coulter country there, Wayd. Accusing over half of a nation (anyone not Right-wing in your eyes) of terrorism, siding with the enemy and treason is the cry of a paranoid fascist, not "just a conservative". |

Well, remember that furries make everything look bad if they get involved in it. Just looking at them hog out out a con banquet is almost enough to make you stop wanting to eat food.
Liberals can talk violence towards conservatives but not the other way around?
Whuh??? I don't think I've ever heard any liberals saying that. If they did, then I don't think they're as liberal as they think they are.
And to tell truth, which person is more likely to use violence; liberals or conservatives? So far, the latter has been showing evidence, and thousands of people in Oklahoma City can verify that.
I hear liberals openly wishing the President would be shot every damn day in my state.
Yeah, and those people are at risk of having "The Matrix Men" knocking on their door because of it. Me? I actually want Bush to be very, very healthy. I want him to be fit as a fiddle so he'll be around to get OWNED by Kerry this November. That's just my opinion.
There was a time mentioning the two concepts in one sentence openly would result in a visit from the FBI, Secret Service, and police just to make sure it was only hypothetical talk. Now it's considered sacrosanct free speech.
Again, I'd really like to know word-for-word the exact comment made. There's a big dif between saying that they wish Bush would eat pretzels while riding a bike and having them saying something obviously about assasination. When there are actual cases of American citizens getting "that knock on the door in the middle of the night" simply because they were overheard saying that they think Bush is a creep, I doubt any comments on assasination will slip by.
(In fact, just by my saying "the A word" several times in this post has probably tripped off some filter in a Total Awareness computer somewhere, and now CYD is on Ashcroft's "suspicious" list. How's THAT for scary? I make mention of that just in case I suddenly "vanish" one day that it may be the FBI responsible for my disappearance, or that the AFFoles finally grew a set of balls.)
I also hear talk about how we should be allying ourselves with Muslim terrorists instead of fighting them and killing police.
Okay, I'm afraid I have to call BS on this one. I don't know what sort of cartoon hippies you've been encountering (or if you've only heard about these wackos being mentioned by the equally dangerous wackos of hate radio), but even Jane Fonda (whom conservatives STILL wanna see dead BTW, since we're talking about killing people for their beliefs) wouldn't take that stance.
It's like the frigging sixties again.
Well, there are a lot of similarities to compare to, I'm afraid.
So again, if you're not going to go over all the leftist nutcasery, then don't go over all that on the right. Otherwise, it's nothing to do with laughing at furry freakery, it's all about your personal politics. And that's not why I signed onto CYD and it's probably not why anyone else did either.
Since it seemed to not be so obvious to you, the point of the post was to make mention about someone whom a guy like Jay Naylor would probably identify with on the political/social level. Remember, I've spoken with the guy (Naylor). He's of that type who would get easily fustrated for having only 2 hands, but needs to hold his rifle, his bible, and a copy of the Turner Diaries at the same time.
Or should be just get David back here and let the whole place go solidly socialist and be forced to start a conservative CYD and do the same kind of schismatic split for no good freaking reason that we see in alt.fan.furry constantly?
I'm trying really hard not to say "Settle down, Beavis.". Really I am.
The politics should simply be left out. Period.
I'm afraid the way things have truly gone ass-up in the world today (what with the neocons having been suckered into started an insane war in the middle east based on the lies of an Iranian double-agent), trying to ignore all this global bullshit going on would mean that you are as delusional as a furry.
And seriously, do we want to be as out of touch with what's going on in the world as they are? |

I know someone who went to school with one person and was at university with another person, both who are now members of the current labour government.
Nick Brown and David Treisman they were.
Nick Brown (appropriately) was a brown noser and the other was a student radical and professed Marxism.
Treisman only professed Marxism because that’s what was necessary for him to get into any position of power, no matter how minor.
Once the ideology hindered him more than helped, he abandoned it.
I scowl at their memorys. |

I believe, loosely translated, the one mouse is asking what's in the wagon. The other replies it's the remains of furry fandom.
Not that I read Russian or anything. When you see a furry pulling a wagon full of stinking garbage, that's just the natural conclusion. :) |

They say he's got a lot of chutzpah, he's really quite hhhhhip
The parents pay the moyl and he gets to keep the tip!
I clicked a few dates to see how drek-like the comic is and just gotta say.. goddamn... aren't there any furry comics out there that don't star the artist himself as the continual font of sage sarcasm or social commentary hilarity (if one could use that term with furry attempts at humor)????? Whatever happened to creating comics that weren't populated by you and your friends??? Seems like more and more furry comics are just ego-stoking doodles to say I AM TEH WINNAR!
And I looooooove how original and unique his character is.
Fisk Black - Fisk is the main feature of the comic, following his life through childhood and adulthood. He's normally quiet and pensive, though occassionally loses his typical self restraint and is deemed a sardonic smart-ass by the adults around him. His one continuing struggle is determining what it is to be a man, without the guidance of his deceased father.
Quiet.. check. Pensive.. check. Tends to fly off the handle... check. Smart-ass that is wittier and more insightful than the adults... check. Struggling with manhood... check.
"Beavis often wrestles with his manhood. Eh..hehehehehheheh."
"Hehheh... yeah.. hehe... I ususally win." |

I tell you... I draw Alice Otter. Alice Otter doesn't feature me or my friends on the strip. There may be some chars inspired in people I know, but they don't even keep their real names. And then we've got a veeery secondary character who was my avatar a while ago, but I'm not using him to describe myself or how I think I am. :)
So then... either mine isn't a furry comic, or it's an exception to the rule, or else I'm a FREAK! |

Decent layout... good hatching ability... legible font (by hand, or MS Comic Sans?).. smooth, clean borders... nice visual flow and some balance between darks and lights....
I vote FREAK
I didn't mean to imply there's anything wrong with slipping in characters in the background or in-jokes or anything. I just meant that comics that are "This is a comic about my character and how great and superior he is to all around him" are pretty common furry fare. Of course, if you get overly heavy handed with secondary characters that are an endless parade of people you know, like the pretending-to-be-deep comic Jack, it gets to be furry hack, too. |

If I were working on a furry comic, it'd be one which, if I had any part in it, would be lampooning myself at every possible opportunity. Mainly because I am fucking nuts (though legally I'm not - I have documents from the California Institute of Mental Health to prove it, but in California, what the hell does that matter?)...
I'm thinking that I'd use the characters that seem to take up residence in my mind and throw them into a bewildering variety of situations inside it, including power fantasies gone awry, confused speech, and basically deflate any ego that I have, which may not be very much...
Then I could deal with real-life to an extent, first of all by showing some of my more entertaining college classes - one taught by a history teacher named Richard MacMillan, for instance, where he digs into the "secret" stuff of history and frequently swears like a sailor. It kind of rubs off on me, that much I can say.
So a self-satirical comic that deals with my mental insanity and the insanity I live with in real life...hmmm...how does that sound? |
