When ordinary folk encounter furry: MetaFilter included a link to Dragonfly's VCL page (NSFW?) under the title "The Finest Siamese Twin Cartoon Furry Porn on the internet"; check out the comments.
Is this a joke?

Evstar: sadly, no. Welcome to the world of Furries.

I believe the phrase "Fuck you and your shitty shit" comes to mind. This is that jerkoff who did that horrible thing... I still blame Shmorky for giving him Big Ones, rather than letting it just abrubtly die. If not for Big Ones, I might have never seen into this creature's deluded, twisted mind.

On the other hand, some of that stuff reminds me creepily of childhood games more than anything else; the way we used to pretend we were animals and act out fantasies (which were sexual only in the most subliminal and underdeveloped way). Gack. So many children's books feature anthropomorphized animals-- is this a coincidence? Or an attempt to recapture the imaginative horizon of childhood intersecting with adult sexual drives?
Pretty good observation there I think... Sometimes I wonder about the high level of exposure to anthropomorphics due to increasing levels of media saturation during recent history, and also of whatever it is that dictates that children should read stories and watch animation involving talking animals. And how there may be biases within these influences. Then there is the apparent short-circuit between 'cute' and 'sexy' that most furries seem to have.
Add those two phenomenon plus this wonderful INTERNET and you have a good recipe for a sub-culture of obsession, I would think. The causalities are more complex then that, but I don't want to speculate too much.

ha ha ha. It was a funny experiment though (the whole point of the strip was to never make sense.) I wanted to see what would happen, and really nothing happened. That was the end of it.
Big Ones is back online to and (thank goodness) missing the really shitty ones and guest comics.

Wow. Another fetish that surpasses my imagination. Nothing shocks me anymore. Not after being involved in the 'furry community' as its called. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing though really |

I loved that it had no story line, no plot, and one day you'd have the joyous visage of a dapper cat chasing a refined mouse, and the next day it'd be stuck full of nintendo porn. It kept you on your toes if you, like I, read it at work.
Please, please, please, tell me you have the ones where you made fun of Ishida. That's when you cemented me as a fan. That one where you did the panel of the guy and the pig in all of those different styles... it was beautyful, man.
*sniff*
I also detest anything SinFest. |

God, please do. Ishida's reaction at the time was classic. |

Dragonfly's VCL page
Balloon characters? WTF?
My second commission! This one from a deeply vorephilic individual, who will soon be eaten by Iris. The inside of her body is naturally lubricated with something slippery and oily. Past her throat is a sphincter-like circle of latex tightly shut to keep her air in. If she swallowed you, this would open to let you inside her hollow body.
A whole new fetish I didn't know existed. This one is so far gone it reads like a fetish parody. But I guess it isn't...
