Freaks! How to Draw Fantastic Fantasy Creatures
by Steve Miller
Has anyone seen this yet? I thought the customer reviews were precious:

I bought this book for my 12 year old son because he loves to draw comic book and video game characters. I was surprised at how well his drawings improved by just using some of the simple advice from the author. It is neat to see him come home from school and go into his room to draw instead of immediately turning on the tv or a video game.
And does it have sections entitled "Sexual Positions 101: the Furry Kama Sutra", "How to Draw Glistening Spooge in 4 Easy Steps" and "How to Hide Your Art from Your Parents"?
Alternatively, can any 'non-furry' anthro fans here give this book a positive review? |

You can find another description of it, as well as a larger picture of the cover here.
Of course, animal characters have been a staple of comics long before furries started jacking off to them. There's plenty of anthro characters from old comics and Hanna-Barbera cartoons and all. Obviously this is geared toward creating characters like Beta-Ray Bill (I think that's the name... looks like a dessicated horse morph in Thor's outfit), knolls, or something like the frog-demon in an early episode of InuYasha. Still, I wonder if the creators were aware of the doors this opens when coupled with the Internet.
Devoted to serious depictions of anthropomorphic characters, Freaks! covers the entire spectrum of animal people and explores all its possibilities. This drawing guide demonstrates the wide range of this popular genre of illustrative art and the techniques needed to create these fantastic fantasy creatures. Contributing illustrators include Brett Booth (Spider-Man), Mitch Byrd (Green Lantern), and Todd Nauck (Teen Titans).
Explores all of its possibilities....... like wolf orgies, hyena rimjobs and cumshots that would fill an olympic-sized swimming pool?

I really hope they mean he draws in his room with his door open.
