All that effort to render the character...what about a decent background instead of a cheap ass photo? This is what annoys me most of all about some furry artists, bloody shortcuts.

It seems to be a furryartist rite of passage - once you learn how to basic anatomy, you spend time cleaning, and inking - then have a wank to it and drop it on some bog stock background, or add a few colors, use the smudge tool, and it's done.

Well it would also help is the poor thing didn't have a deformed tail and oddly twisted hips. I've seen better anatomy overall though it's pretty good. I like doing backgrounds, whatever happened to the concept that 'The background is a character too, perhaps the most important one'?

Actually, I tried to distance myself from any form of your art as my ex-roommate has a picture (that looks like you may have had a hand in) regarding a certain skunkette on the can - at least, that's what I think it was. I never looked too close, and endevored to keep my distance from him as well. :wink:

I know that pic. It was a commission in exchange for some web room on the old 'skunked.com' website. The pic may -look- like something, but it's actually something else, since the skunkette was just taking her clothes off to take a shower. If you look carefully, you'll see the cover of the WC is closed. ;) I've found I still have a scan of that pic. Odd. I didn't remember I drew that kind of stuff.
I still have the pic online, yet hidden on an old, unlinked page of my site. If you want, I can give you the URL so you can take a closer look. :)

Y'know, I can kind of understand the idea of taking a character and making it humanoid. But, taking a nonhumanoid character and just slapping human tits on it.... that's just.... goofy. It's just a testament to the fact that you could put tits on ANYTHING and someone would find it hot. It's almost like the character is irrelevant.. it's just life-support for the tits.

The scariest thing is if you check out Dr. Comet's paint BBS. You'll see nonmorphic Pokemon porn. I mean.... have you looked at some of those things? I've seen Pokemon that look like lamp plugs and potatos. And then, they take these things and put a vagina on them. That makes about as much sense as a vagina on a volleyball. I think all of the nonmorphic furry porn with human boobs, tits and dicks proves one thing......... a desperate man will fuck ANYTHING.

It's a Japanese Kemono thing. Shrug, hey, furry's seen and done differently in different parts of the world. It's not just a Dr. Comet thing, I've noticed many Japanese Kemono artists do the mulitbreast thing with their humaniod animals. Shrug, different cultures of similar genres.
