Assuming that you're gargu on there, what's your point? This Tifa person might have a rosier idea of animal nature than she should, but she's hardly screaming the OMG ANIMALS ARE PERFECT line. She seems to have some idea that animals are cruel - she acknowledges that they bite each other's heads off and she's even seen cats playing with their meals - she just doesn't think it compares to the scale and violence with which humans treat animals. I have to say that sounds pretty logical to me.

In fact, she even says she'll TOLERATE slaughterhouses, which indicates that she's a lot more interested in simple animal welfare than in some sort of radical animal rights regime. She doesn't object to you eating a steak as long as you don't gut the cow while its alive or something. For a vegan (And I would know, I've met a lot), that's a very very tolerant, middle of the road attitude.

(And since she's a vegan, I have to give her some props for at least not being a hypocrit. Too many furries spout the "save the kyoot widdle animals" line and then run off to stuff their faces with pork rinds. Hey, I say I care about animals, but I don't do shit to help them. She shames me.)

So I don't even get why you're arguing with her there. Okay, animals torture each other. Is that supposed to be some sort of justification for the way humans treat animals? Animals do a lot of things that we don't approve of. We're supposed to be better than them.

And plugging prairie dogs is fucking stupid.

Exploding ammo? I thought it's regular ammo. I'm mean, if you hit people with a .50 machinegun they also sort of explode, lose limbs/heads/are cut in half and/or thrown back real hard. (No, I was never shooting praire dogs, anything that size, or anything at all for that matter.)

I think if I someday go vegan, it won't be because of animal-related stuff like it should be, but rather just because it seems to chaffe people really badly - and thats sounding pretty appealing to me :lol:
