Forum Archive Index -> Chit Chat Author Message ZenZhu Vociferator Joined: 22 Mar 2004 Posts: 669 Posted: 9/28/2004 4:38:03 PM     Post subject: OFF TOPIC: Hollywood Visits Legoland   Poking around, I found a site where someone has taken Lego figures and used them to create characters and scenes from movies, anime, games, etc. It's pretty amusing, and a nice change from TEH FURRIE3 H0rR0rZ. Lego figures as characters from anime and games. Some I recognize, many I don't. You might recognize many more. I'm not sure what all of these are, but I love the A.I. takeoff. Scenes from The Matrix Monty Python and the Holy Grail Desperado - Antonio Banderas is almost more marketable as a Lego than as Puss 'n' Boots. The Star Wars Trilogy - the thing that's really impressive is that these were made before the SW Lego kits were made... some of those models are damned impressive for scratch. Stuff from music.. bands, album covers, etc. I dunno what half of these are, but I recognize the band Yatta, the ringwraiths, and Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue, Gambit, Psylocke, Archangel, Iceman, Colossus, Professor X, Magneto and Juggernaut, all from X-Men... Nausicaa from the Hayao Miyazaki movie of the same name... The Z'gok, GM, Zakrello, Gundam, Zaku, Zeon, and Dom, from Gundam...oh, and Char too. Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service... Several characters from Lupin the 3rd... Blanka, Dhalsim, Guile, E. Honda, Chun-Li, Ryu, M. Bison, and Sagat from Street Fighter... Bruce Lee XD Jill and Claire from Resident Evil... Lilith from the Darkstalkers games... Arthur from Ghosts and Goblins... and that's about it. EDIT: oh, Austin Powers, Squall Leonhart, Mulder and Scully, and Colonel Sanders are there too. Back to top
