Am I crazy or was Kim Keister in the audience?

Go here and see if you can find her in the photos. I'm thinking it's unlikely, since Kim looks a lot different than she did in the old photos that appeared on PoE.

Kim nowadays:

Heh. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought "Kimmugh? Internets?"

Not much of a jump. Dan Quayle is the Kim Keister of politics, and Dubya is nothing but Dan Quayle with better handlers and a spellchecker. (Note that it's thought that Bush the Elder chose Quayle as his running mate because he reminded him of one of his sons.... no points are awarded for guessing which one.)

I mean, think of it - the last four years of America's history have been somewhere along the lines of what a "President Quayle" worst-case scenario might have been like.

So in conclusion: SQUT THE TERRORISTS

My assessment of the presidential debates goes along the lines of something like this:

Moderator: "President Bush, what is your favorite color?"

Bush: "Well, the other day, I met with the wife and daughter of one of our soldiers who was killed in the war or terror. We talked together. We prayed together. And, before I left, she told me how her daddy's favorite color was blue."

Moderator: "Mr. Kerry, same question."

Kerry: "That's an excellent question. Now, if we follow my plan, there will be many opportunities for colors. Before I answer your question, let me first tell you about a sandwich I had for lunch........." <goes on about the sandwich until time is up>
