It's kinda funny. I failed algebra 1 myself (mainly because I never did my homework and we had about 2 pages every night). Yet I can add hex/binary and do tripple digit multiplication in my head. Besides what's practical, I pretty much suck at math.

Apparently, our little Kimmaugh has no clue how easily someone can be ruled out of qualifying as a fighter pilot. Sure, a lot of pilots are assholes, but they're skilled assholes. They don't just turn one of those babies over to just anyone because they want to shoot things. Go play Galaga, Kimmaugh, cuz I'm pretty sure one of the first things to qualify for slapping about the sky in an F16 is not being so mentally impaired as to have very little grasp on reality.

I honed much of my drawing skill in college algebra and still passed with top parks. I could have stayed home and passed college algebra in my sleep. Furthermore, an A.A. in two years isn't an accomplishment... that's like proudly proclamining you managed to watch 60 Minutes within the space of an hour. I switched majors from art to science during junior college and still had an A.A. in two years. Dyuhhh.

This was the closest I could be bothered to come up with on the Fatalis thing.

As for Inuyasha, I guess it'd vary with your definition of fan. I've been on the Adult Swim boards, and they tend to be some of the bitchies, most obnoxious little whores with atrocious grammar and spelling to top it all off. My wife and I try to watch each episode, and I hope CN manages to show the full run. But I'd hardly measure up to the teenybopper antics of your average IY fan. My other guilty pleasure is Case Closed.

Road Rovers was amusing. I'm especially fond of... er... whassisname.. the doberman's diatribe about how he used to be a junkyard dog and he enjoys "biting tushies" and is working towards his goal of a new flea collar. Overall, though, it was standard Warner Brothers fare..... excessively topical humor and ad nauseum pot shots at the animators. There's only so many times you can beat the audience over the head with jokes that say "They're dogs that walk and talk like us.... but they chase tennis balls and drink out of the toilet! See! See! Isn't that hilarious! And look.... he peed on Hillary Clinton's shoes! That Bill's a rascal, ain't he! Let's hear a sax number! Haw haw haw!" It was a canine Freakazoid... all of the suck and twice the number of fleas.

Hmm.. maybe that's what we need to put a shot in CYD's arm.. instead of dissecting furry comics, maybe we need to do some analyses on the works furries obsess on, like Disney's Robin Hood and NIMH and such. Inu Yasha is cute. I like the little fox-tailed kid, and remember one episode where he's kidnapped by the Thunder Bros. little sister, who thinks he's the one who beat them. I've never seen much of "TDK's" stuff. Every time I try and find out more about it, I give up after seeing 80 bazillion hits for the media manufacturers and figure the retinal damage that would be inflicted by actually seeing these animations in question and such isn't worth the search. After seeing the few pics on that yiff.ru site, however, I don't see how Schwartz can even attempt to maintain the illusion of plausible deniability. One of the biggest telltale signs, other than the overall sameness in style, is one of Schwartz's trademark anatomical mistakes.
Look at the character on the left's left foot in this image . Schwartz has this tendency to draw the foot backwards. If that was the character's right foot, it'd be fine. But, since it's the left foot, the toes are bending in a way that is not natural, unless maybe they're just waggling losely because she had all of the tendons in that foot severed at some point. In a running pose like that, the big toe can arc upwards, and the others tend to follow that, creating a curve where the little toes are pointed down or back. (Thank you Jack Hamm and Burne Hogarth.) There's no way the little toes would be arced upwards and the big toe downwards as he tends to draw... especially in a running motion.

You'll see the same bad anatomy on pictures like this by TDK. If the sameness in style wasn't enough to dispell his attempt at denying he's TDK, that little detail pretty well ties the two together.

Their new attempt at justifying some kind of Talespin bear-cub fuckscene is to call it doujinshi. I'm not too up on the doujinshi scene, but if memory serves me, the copyright laws and such in Japan allow for these amateur fanzines and all to use popular manga and anime characters. So, in Japan, it's perfectly acceptable for some unknown person to produce a yaoi (basically gay) doujinshi depicting Inuyasha-Sesshoumaru incest. Of course, here in the U.S., that kind of thing isn't permitted or protected. But, the furry fucktards think that just because they slap the word doujinshi on it, it's somehow magically transformed into a legally defensible depiction of a Road Rovers orgy or something.

We need more shit like this. Their precious pay porn, stolen from them and kept out of the reach of their feeble lawsuite threats. Why? Because they need to lighten the fuck up.

The thread's long since been deleted, but I do remember a few dissenters who though it was overkill to call out the lynch mob on some Russian site probably put together by some poor guy who doesn't even speak English or knows about copyright law. They were promptly shouted down, of course.

As it wound down the call came to stop posting and let the subject die, that the artists in question had been notified and it was up to them to take care of the matter. From what I understand, some of the artists already knew about it, some didn't care and others didn't even respond. Of course a few got upset, but like these things usualy go it was the talentless hangers-on that made the biggest stink of all.

Eventualy at one point the site went down, and it was most likely result of the fans of one of the artists (TDK perhaps?) launching a DOS attack. That was also probably part of the reason everyone was told to shut up on the subject, so it wouldn't look like VCL was the breeding ground for the attack.

The site popped back up shortly thereafter like nothing had happened and is still as strong today (it's outlasted PureYiff.com even). In fact, I've seen it linked to quite a few times when samples of a particular artists works were called for.

Why it doesn't draw much attention anymore may be due in part to it being updated rarely (if at all, I really can't tell) and that it's not meant to be a pay site or a place for the distribution of furry warez.

I remember a big stink on VCL about the site maybe a year or so ago, but it got called off (under the assurance that it was "being taken care of") after it was realized they couldn't do much to stop a site based in Russia.
