Shouldn't the raccoon vomit up something more in season? Some bad fruitcakes perhaps? :}

Excuse me, with the sheer amount of Sam Adams I ingest, you can't possible expect me to remember every single thread I post here while intoxicated!

Yeah Samuel Adams, I dunno... it aint anything to write home about. Its overpriced deer piss, if U ask me :)
I prefer the Guinness, A couple local beers including a 10% Imperial, .. Canadian beer.... watery budweiser. I been drinking that Yeungling lately cuz its new where Im at and everybody is making a big deal of it so I drink it. But not impressed.
I have a wall of 6 packs in my closet, a mini pyramid of beer cans next to my desk and near empty bottles of Crown Royal Special and Glenfiddich 12 year Single Malt on my bookshelf....Cause for concern, or just lazyness ? hmmm :)
Also for some reason I cant remember really important stuff I have to do , but Ill remember obscure Usenet posts from years ago .. or incredibly insignificant long gone threads from CYD.. |

My daily ritual for the past five years has been one glass of Vodka a day, plus a Pina Colata on Saturdays...don't know why. |

Vodka can be healthy, if in moderation. It has quite a few less carbs than sweet wines, and even most beer.
...sober... must keep sober... :( |

This whole thread is proof that christmas and drinking go hand in hand. It's like those guys you see pulling into the liquor store at 5 pm on friday and coming out with two cases of beer for the weekend. Or people that start drinking before 7 am, it's a 'good time' to them. I don't get it. :? Not that I'm saying you guys are drunks. I'm rambling.
Up up and away! *crunch* ...my neck. |

Where I live, last I heard, has more bars per capita than any other city in the US (dives, mind you). Last call is 4am and gas stations and liquor stores sell alcohol until 3am.
I never liked drinking ... then after 21 I realized there is absolutely nothing to do in this area except drink. Thats the end of the list.
Actually correction: there is only 2 things to do in this area , drink and fuck, and Im sadly lacking in the one dept.. figures  |

If you want overpriced deer piss, go to the hunting section of a sporting goods store and look near the buck lures.
Like Kadius, I've never seen the point in actually planning to drink copius amounts of alcohol. Not that I'm going to publish some Chick Tract (Oooh.. I'm topical!) against it or anything.. but how getting drunk can actually be the objective for one's evening, rather than the by-product of having a few too many while getting caught up in the festivities has never managed to filter into my brain in any way that makes sense.
Of course, I don't have much of a tolerance for alcohol. I enjoy a Tequiza or Tsing Tao on occasion.. maybe once every 4 or 5 months... and even then, I probably only finish half of it because I drink it so slowly that it gets warm and flat before I'm done with it. With the exception of Tequiza, I've never really developed a taste for beer, either. The tang of it goes good with some foods, but on its own, I can't drink it without chasing each mouthful with a swig of cola. In which case, of course, I'd just as soon drink the cola by itself.
I will sometimes put a hint of Bailey's into hot cocoa, but even then, it's for the flavor rather than the alcohol. I use sake for marinating salmon.
About the only thing I can actually stomach are the "girly" mixed drinks that are basically milkshakes with booze... like a mudslide or Friday's Barnamint Bailey's. I'm curious about their coffee drinks... but I don't drink coffee, either, without copius amounts of chocolate and cream (mocha latte is as close to coffee as I go).
So, it's small wonder I have no clue as to the allure of actually planning to get drunk.
The thing that's really amusing.. and also saddening, in a way... are the people I see on the drive home on Fridays sipping from bottles in little bags. Yah... you're fooling us all, fellah. I mean.. freaking Christ, Buddha, and Ganesha all together.... can't you wait 20 minutes until you get home to start partying? I remember a site assessment I was doing at an auto-detailing shop. One of the customers of the shop apparently had his truck detailed every Friday (talk about obsessive). As part of his Friday tradition, he would sit in their lobby and drink a HUGE beer.. and this is around 1PM.
I dunno... I just don't see what's so great about that junk. As an indulgence, yeah, I can kind of understand... like a really rich dessert or eating at a good restaurant. But with so many people drinking it like water..... I just can't figure it out. |

I don't know if i'm the right person to talk about alcohol, with all that balcony pissing and stuff, but I love beer. I rarely put anything sweet in my mouth anymore, except for some fresh fruit now and then so beer tops all the sweet drinks, ciders (except for the really, really dry ones) et cetera. If you drink 18 bottles/cans of beer and it still tastes good, it's a good brand. I don't drink vodka because it makes me naked. |

I figure it's kind of an acquired taste. I'm sure if I drank enough of it, I'd grow to the taste. And, like I said, it does compliment some foods well. I like Tequiza's limey flavor with Mexican food. Tsing Tao is good with Asian, and Red Stripe goes well with pork chops. Still, it's whole allure just eludes me.
My wife likes wine, but has never sampled much of it. So, we get different bottles now and then. To me, it all tastes like grapes and turpentine. So, I've given up on it. Maybe if I get to taste some zillion-dollar-a-bottle brand I'll find it palatable, but probably not. |

Personally, I find that some, like burgundies, can be very good, even if they're grocery-store quality. Especially if they're just the base for a nice pot of Bouef Bourguignion.
And rum's okay. Don't like beer or champagne, though. |

I've never once gotten drunk execpt for a Halloween party one time. And that was only because it was my first time drinking. I also like those "girly" drinks at T.G.I. Fridays mainly because if you saw me a little Middleastern man with glasses and a thick moustache you would not think of me as tough, there for I have no need fot image. Plus I like choclate with my booze. Oh and I also found the joy's of Saki last week at Thanksgivingand it gave me a new flavor. |

Nice Funny Picture!!!
Oh my wonderful tropical land, at the xmas (blééééééééaaaa) we eat Italian Cake (Known as Panettone) :•)....... That is filled by multi-colored dry fruits and tastes very goooooood.
However, it gives heart-burn (known as AZIA) if eat Italian Cakes too much.
I prefer a colored Xmas vomit instead that puke spout with chicken bone :D |
