I found a furry LJ recently, a LJ dedicated to furries that want to be baby furries and some even shit themselves. After trolling their LJ a little, they tried to shut down my LJ because I attacked furries for a whole week. They called me racist and found out they couldn't do anything about my LJ because its fine to make fun of losers who masterbate to baby looney toons.

Actually come to think of it - babyfurs are probably the only people on the planet such shows have any value to.

I couldn't even get past the synopsis to the whole thing, as is the case for any of those 'baby' versions of shows.. 'a pup named Scooby Doo' etc etc.

Whoa, that's the very same technique I used when I trolled alt.lifestyle.furry back in 2000-01.

I know it was juvenile, but, hey it was nothing but a pastime. And it was fun 'till I got bored and moved on.

I trolled them once is get them angry, then I kept on posting about no sane person could think this shit up, then were pissed. I even posted a fucking essay about how the furries would be accepted if they dropped all the fetish crap, but they deleted it. I had a ton of fun though, messed them up for a whole week.

Furry definitely amuses with its grandiose claims. The lifestyle one is funny. If anyone else took their interest in cats, cars, sports, beanie babies, Star Wars figures, Star Trek, anime, or salt and pepper shakers and invested so much time, money, and shelf/wall space to that interest, they'd simply be called obsessive. Do the same thing with furries and it's suddenly a lifestyle.

Furry as a religion is laughable because all the "religious" aspects do is borrow from other religions. So, rather than "furry religion," why don't they simply say they're shamanistic, Wiccan, etc... whatever religion they borrowed from. It's kind of like if I borrowed what I wanted from Christianity and called myself a Goddite or something. What's also funny is how the "furry religions," or furry variations thereof, borrow only the good stuff from other religions. The stuff that says you can get trippy in the woods with 7 other naked people and you'll suddenly be more wolflike or bearlike or something. Then they ignore the stuff that outlines the responsibilities associated with being affiliated with those religions.

The racist idea is something I've never understood. It's unsurprising that convoluted furry logic would equate a distaste for furries with the mentality that one race is better than another by some kind of cosmic default. A guy who hasn't bathed in a week climbing onto a bus while wearing fake cat ears and a tail can hardly be equated with Rosa Parks. Of course, most people confuse "racist" with "bigoted" these days... so it's probably more due to the common misuse of the word rather than some kind of furry persecution complex.

What makes it even dumber is, even if the term somehow applied to someone's sentiments, actual furries wouldn't be another race.. they'd be another species. Of course "specist" doesn't have the same impact. Instead of conjuring up images of burning crosses and Atlanta residents dolled up in their bedroom linens, it just makes you say "Huh?.. Spe-what?"
