I think I remember reading a joke on this site about furries being able to sell even doodles on lined paper from their college notebooks, and got a laugh.
That was, until this became true.
For $10, buy jpegs of doodles. I shit you not.
What you have is a collection of artwork found in my class notebooks from the time I was in college from 1982 and 1983. Shows you just how much attention I was paying to my Calculus professors. I put this together to show the up and coming furry artist who says "I wish I could draw like you" that they probably already do draw better than I did when their age.
Granted, this guy is an old guard of the fandom and actually draws well, even if his subjects are all hermaphorditic giant abominations. Still. SELLING YOUR DAMN COLLEGE DOODLES? Forbes would be stunned by this feat of capitalism.
I'm sure there exists something NWS on the site, be warned.

What makes it an even ballsier move is that it's not stuff from his current skill level, but back when he wasn't quite as adept as he is now. So we're not even talking about some collection of unusually-skilled doodles... we're talking about an assortment of past crap. I could understand some furries being suckered into buying it if it was up to Sample's recent skill level. Hell.. why not sell a CD of crayon drawings his mom kept when he was drawing big-titted macro herms in kindergarden.
The upshot is that you get to see Sample draw something other than the 4 or 5 stock poses he recycles. |

No.
I don't think so.
At best, maybe included as extras or an easter egg on a regular art CD, but many serious artists wouldn't even want you to see those early artworks, since an artist is only considered as good as the work they let be seen. |

Don't hate the player, hate the game (and the people who would be silly enough to pay for a jpeg. More power to him if people actually do.) |

Indeed, it would be best if Ken paid his rent with the money as opposed to the original owner buying another wolf dildo with it.
It's a bit like Furcadia selling wings, which consist of about 19 pixels for 40 dollars. Milk the bastards of all they own. |

Absolutely! You can't knock a guy for wanting to make his bread! If it involves separating a fool from his money, more power to him! |

Of course you can!
Can you imagine how arrogant youd have to be to even try selling CDs full of such shit? I know a brand or a name can be used to sell total garbage - but I really don't think the 'Ken Sample' brand is that powerful.
Youre right tho, more power to em every CD he sells... but heres me hoping he prints a million of em and doesn't sell one. Or rather, heres me still thinking he's an ass - regardless :D |
