H'mm, ok. Well, it just so happenes that MY account in Sheezy is banned (because apparantly I lied(?) to channel cat about something? I've never even spoke to him but that's the excuse I got.) so I decided to log on and try to delete my art, and LO I got taken straight tot he YOU ARE BANNED FOREVER page, and was immideately logged out. H'mm. Funny, seeing as this recently showed up on the SA main page:

And Also, regarding banned users deleting their submissions:
We were not refusing artists the ability to remove their work, only refusing the ability for them to do it themselves.
However, we reconsidered and found it to be more convenient and courteous to allow banned users to remove their submissions themselves.

I love the internet now more than ever. It's more entertaining than reality TV. Just because of all the drama queens that are about.

Sounds like Channel Cat is just going mental or something. I take it there was no email or anything saying why you were banned.. what hideous offense against God and country you committed that merited "punishment?" I'm not sure where the logic is in banning someone, then keeping their work on your site. This Nick person pretty much hits the nail on the head when he compares it to breaking up with someone and stealing their stuff. Although, this is more like running one of those rent-a-garage storage centers, and telling customers they can't get back in once they've put their stuff into storage.

Maybe KAK's images are like the video in Ringu. Once she sends you an image and you see it, you have seven days until you're also banned. Voodoo Kimmaugh .

You know the saying, "power corrupts; abolute power corrupts absolutely." The funny thing is, rather than the people who have genuinely powerful positions, it's often people who are given a little bit of power - like admin'ing some site - that go postal. This very small power go to their even smaller heads or something. ChannelCat doesn't have a leg to stand on; he can ban people if he likes, but he can't keep on hosting their work then. What anyone can do about it without invoking oh-so-furry threats of LAWSUITE is beyond me, though.

Good luck. But unless ChannelCat is really ignorant, any threat of legal action will be ignored, as he'd know full well that there won't be a case unless you can prove you've actually lost money on him refusing to let you remove your art from his site. Neither lawyers nor courts are going to touch something where there is no actual damage. But I guess you could harass the hell out of him, if done right he might cave in, seeing as one's reputation in the fandumb is something that matters to many furries. If ChannelCat gets a reputation of SOULREAPING TEH ARTISTS his admin days will probably be over soon.
