I'm willing to bet you're all using Firefox and a quicktime plugin. Solution: Stop using the gayest browser in the bunch. :) |

No, it doesn't work with explorer either. All I get is a clip of some REM song. |

It's a Beatles song. It's John Lennon singing "I am the Walrus." |

So where's all the sickening fursuit action? Where are the herms? If it's somewhere in there, great, but if it's not, I don't think I'm gonna watch this. |

Why's everyone now badmouthing Firefox? Still works just dandy for me and I know shit but puters! =)
Getcher settings right on Quicktime and wipe out the the Real Media and Kikesplorer!
Is this some extended version of the fur document we have seen earlier?
Was the other shortened and censored by Meat? =)
This gots more possum and more suits! |

Uh-huh... So when are WE going to be interviewed to offer counter-balance to all the drivel about how utterly goddamned delightful it all is? |

It's working for me now.
Question for the filmmaker: how is the full documentary going to be released? Web-only, DVD, some other way? |

Well ideally, I get Anthropomorphic Arts and Education or some other furry organization to sponsor me (which is why the videos have been so tame so far... though that hasn't stopped furries from complaining and bitching to be cut out of the project due to Sibe or Drew Carrey), put together a real crew, use real equipment that wasn't 'borrowed' from De Anza, shoot in 24P and eventually get a 35mm blowup so they can option it out at film festivals.
Failing that, there's always HBO > Showtime > PBS > DVD > internet > furry cons, whatever.
And to answer your question, the blossum yawning loop is another Beatles reference. |

Sorry, but the whole clip screamed "I'M NORMALLLLLLL!!!!11!!1" to me. Still kinda interesting nonetheless.
Also, the video didn't work when tried with Firefox, but did after saving. (Didn't really test with other plugins, just wanted to see if I'd get "the usual" reaction with an asinine statement such as my last post.) |

Who's normal...me?
I hope that didn't come across as an assinine statement...;P
(BTW, I'm not usually so twitchy when I'm talking!)
Oh, and one more thing - yay, finally some Buggles music! XD (In the car clip, that is...I think that was actually playing on my car stereo when I filmed that shot of TNM...which I wasn't quite expecting to make it onto the actual product!) |

So judging from Anthropomorphic Arts and Education's site, the film would have to be furry propaganda?
BTW, why use The Beatles and REM for the background music? What have they done to deserve being affiliated with furry? |

I dunno, "I am the Walrus" and "Furry Happy Monsters" (the version of "Happy Shiny People" REM performed for Sesame Street) seem pretty appropriate for a furry documentary to me. |

If you need music that has nothing but vague passing relevance to the video, I have a couple of Deftones albums you could borrow...
Infinite demerits for anything Def Leppard. Now, furry music? Black Sabbath's 'Am I Going Insane?' comes to mind. Tool's 'Swamp Song'. Beck's 'Loser'... |

With its lines about "love me, love me" and "love them, love them" I guess "Shiny Happy People" is fitting albeit in an unintentionally ironic way. But why would "I'm the Walrus" be appropriate? The lyrics have absolutely zero relevance. Because there's an animal in the title? By that logic, "Eye of the Tiger", "Hungry Like the Wolf" and other similarly-titled songs would also apply. |

Why doesn't it fit? It's not just a song about the walrus. It's a song saying I AM the walrus. |

If that's the basis for the music I expect a lot of Super Furry Animals on it. |

Yeah true.
Most if not all of the music in the final, actual doc will probobly come from the Furry Music Foundation or something.
As for allegations of 'furry propoganda'... I perfer the term 'recruitment tool'.

Well, it really looks nice. I'm amused by the faux amazement at furries gathering in "MY home town," but otherwise good job, very professional looking. From this, it looks like it will end up being a gentle ribbing of fandom rather than either a glowing fanjob or pure sensationalism. So should be entertaining.
Of course, I am biased seeing as how I'm in it.
Does digital technology exist that could change my voice from "grating and reedy" to "manly baritone?"
Also, how's Nashville going?
To 5thehardway: Oh, I dunno.

I'm sure you can get Wayde to dub over your voice with his. |

Look at the bright side, Meat. With music from the FMF, everyone will be watching it muted. |

Although I can tell you their merchandise is cringe-worthy. Who wouldn't wear a shirt that just says "FURRIES" on it? |
