You all remember that LJ community No_to_Cyd that has made it its mission to watch the watchers? Horror of horrors, it has found incriminating pictures of some of the regulars!

Except that, but for Mike Hirtes, I don't think any of those pictures are actually who they purport to be. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think they somehow want to have their cake and eat it too..
They want NO retaliation against their views, and feel that by using a place separate from CYD it's safe.

But really, that's just an estimate on my part, it could be something completly different.

You see, I think it's odd that they post in places such as livejournal instead of some horribly alone livejournal furry clone...

I mean, it's obvious they want to spread "INFORMATION" about the CYD'ers to the people who care about it, so why not just go to a fucking FURRY forum and do it?

Perhaps they actually feel GUILTY about not giving any ability for retaliation... Maybe they just haven't noticed that posting in a place as public as live journal is going to be noticed by MANY people, including the CYD'ers.

I'm still a bit confused, as to why this person decided to make an LJ, instead of something smaller, or maybe even just a website like geocities so that only HE/SHE could speak, and that there would be no feedback.

But I'm rambling, the point remains that people tend to look for the path of least resistance, so instead of going RIGHT to the source, they try and sway people.

All I have to say, is I DARE any phur to get a picture of me and post it there. They don't know who I am, they can't know who I am (I'm like a freakin' cypher guys), and I haven't posted pictures of myself up online either.

Not to mention since I don't go around Furry circles very much (if at all), they just won't have anyhthing on me.

It's much easier to laugh from afar, anyway. Laughing at furries to their faces vs on the forum is a bit like the difference between seeing roadkill on tv and driving past a dead skunk.

The reactions of the 'normal' people are infinitely entertaining, like the horrified looks of passers-by seeing someone in a giant fox costume with a leather harness and leash posing for photos. SOOOOO CUUUUUTE!!!!11 ^_____^
