I figured I might as well post it on here too, just so more people can see it. Oh... and we showed it to Daveykins himself:

.... wow, Manawolf

Wow.

Did anyone else think "Napoleon Dynamite?"

"David Hopkins, shut up."

"David Hopkins hotline, this is David Hopkins, how can you kiss my ass?
Really? You think it's deep and you like how I use NIN lyrics as the entire premise of the entire comic and that it's fucking clever? It's not I'm stupid and you're stupid for liking it. Stupid ass."

"It's time for David Hopkins to go to bed, and dream up some delicious nightmares that he may later write down, beacuse I have very great nightmares. I sometimes wake up with a bed full of piss. Or as I like to call it, a bed full of ideas"

"When my penis is in your cunt, that's called rape. That's not good"

"God. Being David Hopkins is haaaaaaaard!"

Hopkins has zero sense of social interaction. I never even spoke to the man at AC, and still I could help but run into a situation where I had to bite back a snarl for the man.

I bought something small off his tablemate, Roz Gibson. I bought it mostly because it had a character on the cover I recognized from another image and because when I asked for the price, I got "Ten bucks" as an answer. I sort of have this thing where I pretend I screw Lowtax in the ass whenever I find a use, or waste, for exactly ten dollars.

Anyway, while, being the good little furry faggot shopper I am, I pull out the crisp tenner and am in the process of handing it over... Dave pipes up with "Ten? Is that it?" in a tone that implied she should jack the price up while the transaction is still taking place. Roz just finished with me and threw an excuse at hellboy. I smiled at her, grimaced at him and went on my way.

Obviously, the man doesn't care how crass he sounds or acts. He's self centered to a fault. Hence why he and the lobotomized Manawolf are bossom buddies.

And despite the lack of a y there, I momentarily expected Gonterman. Maybe another time?

"I don't get it! Nobody gives me a chance! They just hate me because my art used to suck! It's way better now! It can't still suck, can it?"
"Ooo, yes, foxy android, give ol' Daveykins some Clinton jobs. Rowr!"

"It is called rape when my penis is in your cunt. It's a bad thing.."

i remember that xD That.. retarted comic.. good lord i've done few porn comics (never published one as i don't want people to jerk off to my "art") and it's really hard to think up any good lines, especially to rape but that must be the worst line in porn comic i've ever seen..

That documentary was awesome, especially the begginning scene xD

I will wait till i'm nice and high tonite before i attempt to view that. Theres something about watching these adult furs acctually speaking in "yiff speak" or whatever that makes me very embarassed and depressed.

I don't think i've made it entirely through a single video linked from cyd, specially the documentaries. I can still hear those two retards screaming "we love cats! we love cats" echoing through my nightmares.

I saw that episode, and immediately hopped onto a CSI message board. Predictably, the furries were jumping in there to vehemently defend their fur-suiting activities.

Someone should contact Michael Moore and ask him to do a documentary about furries.. Seriously. It would be "interesting" to see :P

He'd blame it on the media and conservative society. Call it a 'backlash against the oppression of day to day American structure' and 'a necessary reversion to childhood for those who America forced to mature too quickly'. He'd make Michael Eisner look like a huge ass (when he's really a cunt) then visit MFM and learn furries live a more 'real' life than we do.

"I'd heard about these plushophiles, so I went to visit Pennsylvania. There, in a small run down suburban house, I met a young man considered unemployable who coped with the dreary realities of the city by immersing himself in the innocent and lighthearted world of stuffed toys. His name was..."

You can find it online if you look hard enough. That's how I obtained a copy of "Fur and Loathing". While you're looking look for an episode entitled "King Baby". *evil grin*

Moore would obviously side with the furries and turn the video into something about civil rights or free speech. Next thing you know, the "regular" alienated youth is going to get on the rebellion train again and join the fandom, wearing ears and other furry parephenilia in public. Furry movements will start getting more weight and will make positive appearences on MTV or the Lifestyle network. In a few years, Furry becomes an official religion and efforts are made to shut down websites like these. Scientists are forced to created "chimera" creatures and work on transforming humans into animal hybrids. Probably a war as well.

Of course, thats a worst case scenario.

It is indeed a home-made comedy short posted to the internet, but it seems to be quite funny and well-scripted. Watching it gave me that same sort of surprise you feel on discovering a piece of non-shite furry art. Keep up the level of writing and this could be a legendary series in the making.

You laugh, but to many conservative furries that's an honest to fuck nightmare, if not the nightmare. In fact, one of the primary responses from the "confurative" (God I hate furry words) community to the Limbaugh crack at furries was "Moore would do worse".

So a hypothetical jab at the fandom apparently does more damage than an actual one. I never knew how closely psychic predictions and fursecution coincided.

Almost a haiku, needs one more syllable on the last line.

That depends. To me, it -reads- as "L-O-L", but it -pronounces- kinda like the Governator's laugh in those MAD TV sketches.

LOL = LAHL!

If you read "LOL" as "laughing out loud" it's a haiku.

Actually, considering that 'lulz' is a word upon itself, I would have to say that many read it as you do. Despite openly reading other net appbreviations as the words they are, like 'IIRC', I too read LOL phonetically. Although not as 'lull' as in lullaby, but in more of a 'lawl' way, like 'lollipop'.

Anyway... Hate to be a bother but can we get back on topic. I liked this animation, I don't know what qualifies a 'best' shawn keller, but this is still rather funny.

Nope. Otherwise lollerskates, etc wouldn't make sense.

Besides, FYAD FYAD LOL has pronounced "lol" as "loll" forever. OFFICIAL SANCTION or something.

I like how people can make wild conjecture on these forums, when deep down, we all know it isn't really funny.

Hopkins gets points for not going batshit insane. Uh, maybe he's already there, but then he keeps the fans from freaking out crazy. Which says something. The 'Jack' forums are full of the most socially inept twitching imaginary-sex junkies in furry.

Huh, you're right. I don't think a calm, mature response from him was at all what anybody was expecting. He'll get himself drummed out of the fandom if he keeps that up.

Theres really nothing stopping anyone from posting responses that are further back on topic either ...which already happened.... soooo.. lets drift the topic again, this time to "The nature of threads on the CYD forums". (why? JACK and Hopkins both seem boring to me right now.) :)

I always see it like, if someone has something interesting to say or add from something back on page 1, they will - and as people respond to that -- I'd say the thread would be back on topic on that point.

Also, lets keep in mind the other extreme - the 'FAQ-thumping dickweeds' you find on say, AFF. Where one single off topic or tangentially related post ccould occassionally get 10 complaints about it being offtopic and spawn 3 new relabeled threads and a flamewar about it. (or at least.. it used to be like that.) good times!

I guess it comes down to which is more entertaining.
