This is the worst news since I found out FoxWolfie lives within 5 miles of me.

Since their traditional hotel in Philidelphia has closed down, Anthrocon is being held here in Pittsburgh this year. Time to make my plans for being out of town, or possibly the country, that week

Like Syrians flooding into Iraq with AK47s, so too will Monica Kitty suffer the resolve of a staunch furry insurgence. Her young life may even be cut short by a roadside yiffing.

Semper Fi, Monica, carry on.

(seriously though, old news)

Sorry for posting old news! It was new news to me and...well, there's noplace else that would understand my abject horror.

My husband just asked "What's a furry?"

Nah, that will only make him more curious. Best to just go to the hotel for a minute and show him. The lobby tends to be pretty furried up at most ACs. One taste of the bitter poison and siad husband's curiosity is quelched while not diving too deep into the clusterfuck that is furry.

There should be an option on the site map like FURRY FANDOM 101. Someone could, if possible, give a crash course in FURRY.

I thought that the reference library was there for that purpose...
(It was the first thing I read on this site and gave me a bit of perspective on "what is the furry fandom?".)
The idea of a C.Y.D Furry 101 class wouldn't be a bad idea, it would also insue alot of L.J. flames towards C.Y.D...

I think I'm going to stick with leaving him blissfully ignorant. He's a wonderful man and much happier untainted by the wickedness perpetrated on stuffed animals and sports mascots.

Fun fact, in case you missed it, Monica -

Overall attendence was down at AC05, partially because a significant number of people showed up at the old hotel, and, when they couldn't get in, turned around and went home.

I did read that. In my mind I imagine them pulling up to this wrecked, shell of a building, dropping to their knees, and screaming "FURSECUTION!!!!" to the heavens. Then being killed at eaten by cannibalistic mutants living in the ruins.

I have to say I'm almost curious enough to stake out the place. See if the whole "rock throwing at goons" thing applies to girls too.

I'm not seeing a downside here.

I've never done such an elaborate cartoon on a whim, but I was inspired:

I'm so going to furry hell for this.
